Came here with family a few weeks ago. Excellent and friendly service - the place was packed. We visited during Happy Hour, which meant there was a unique and well priced menu available.nnThe issue was, while some of the dishes were great, the taste variety was quite limited. Many of the dishes were too cheesy and/or deep fried and when deep fried, a little too oily, with very few if any lighter or green options available. I think they can improve the menu.
Ordered a bunch of mains to share and everything was 5/5, such a lovely spot for dinner! We started off with drinks from the happy hour menu and decided it would be better to order mains to share since the dishes on the happy menu come in smaller portions. The Cavatelli with Vodka had a lovely texture which soaked up the delicious sauce. The calamari at Oretta was delish - perfectly crispy and a crowd favourite!
Visited Oretta for a girl’s dinner and the experience was a let down. The interior is spacious and beautiful with a nice atmosphere.nHowever, the food was not good at all. I was disappointed because I had heard the opposite. I got the seafood pasta- the pasta was extremely hard, undercooked, and the middle was raw. The breadcrumbs made it taste very grainy. Would skip this dish. Two of my friends got the vodka pasta, they thought it was undercooked as well. The portions for the pasta were also very small. The pizzas were ok. Our service was also extremely slow. I understand that it is New Year’s Day and there might have been staffing issues however my group found the service level disappointing.
Oretta was fantastic! Every dish, from the appetizer to dessert, was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
