Gusto 101

I visited Gusto 101 on a Sunday evening for dinner. The restaurant wasn’t completely full, but it had a lively atmosphere. I was seated on the upper floor, which feels like a bright, covered terrace — a really pleasant spot to enjoy a meal.nnWe started with the Arancini, my first time trying them, and I was pleasantly surprised. They come with two pieces, both flavorful and quite filling. For mains, we ordered the Cavatelli Alla Vodka, which was tasty and served in a generous portion. The presentation could be improved, but the flavor made up for it. We also tried the Mafalda Ai Funghi, which was equally delicious and came in a good portion size.nnThe service was genuinely warm — the staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling, which added to the overall experience.nnI recommend Gusto 101 if you’re looking for a nice dinner with solid Italian flavors in a cozy, stylish setting. Definitely worth a visit.

Just need to start off by giving a big shoutout to Reilly, who was an absolutely fantastic host. He sat us down on the patio right away, kept an eye on the weather in case it started raining, gave us some great recommendations, and overall made the experience amazing from start to finish.nnGusto 101 is a classic spot for authentic Italian cuisine with rich flavours and fresh ingredients. Every dish feels thoughtfully made, and you can really taste the care put into the food.nnI ordered the Cavatelli alla Vodka, which was delicious — generous portions of pancetta, and the combination of the vodka sauce with the stracciatella was perfect. My friend ordered the Rigatoni, and honestly, I already know that’s what I’ll be getting next time I’m back. The meat sauce was hearty without being overly salty, the pork was perfectly cooked, and the dish was easily a 10/10.nnThey also have a great selection of sides. The house-made focaccia is a must-try, and the meatballs were excellent as well. For dessert, their tiramisu is light and creamy, a perfect way to end the meal!nnFor a first impression, Gusto definitely made a great one. Delicious food, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service from Reilly.nnHighly recommend checking this place out.nn10/10

Gusto 101 absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered the mushroom pizza that everyone raves about, and it did not disappoint—rich, creamy, and packed with incredible flavour. The handmade pasta was cooked to perfection, clearly fresh and done right.nnWe also had bread and additional pizza for the table, both of which were fantastic and perfect for sharing. The calamari was delicious—light, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all.nnFor mains, we ordered the veal Parmesan, and it was massive—in the best way. Flattened exactly the way it should be, perfectly cooked, and so good I ate it right down to the bone and finished the entire plate.nnThe atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and our server was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, an outstanding meal from start to finish. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Had a really good experience at Gusto 101. The food was the highlight — full of flavor, generous portions, and beautifully plated. You can tell they prioritize quality ingredients and preparation.nnWe ordered the arancini, mafalde al funghi, calamarata con gamberi, and the margherita pizza — everything was delicious and well executed.nnThe only drawback was that the seating felt a bit tight and close together, which made it slightly less comfortable, especially during busy times. Aside from that, it’s a great spot with excellent food, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The food here is amazing!! Everything I had just kept getting better and better as they came out. The homemade focaccia was perfect, the calamari was probably the best I've had in a while, the sweet potatoes were a dream and with that brown butter yum!, the octopus was my absolute favorite!!! If you like a little spice, don't miss out on this. And the pasta was superb I loved that lots of items were homemade. The house wine was very good and a dollar an oz made it even better lol I will be back to try more off that menu!nIf you're looking for a small cozy setting, this is it. Make a reservation because it gets pretty busy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bartenders kept us entertained with great conversations. Highly recommend Gusto 101!!
