The Italian food here is truly delicious. Both the pasta and pizza were flavorful, and the pomodoro sauce was especially tasty and well prepared.nnPortion sizes are average, while prices fall in the mid-to-high range. The complimentary bread was very good, and the tiramisu was a great way to finish the meal.nnService was good, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. The lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere, but the noise level was a little high, making it difficult for conversation.nnOverall, I had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality Italian food in Toronto.
A lovely summers afternoon at Scaddabush on front! nnThe food was excellent and I can speak for everyone at the table. We ordered a range of pastas along with peach Bellini’s and they all hit the spot. Not only were they satisfying but the portions were just right. You definitely get your moneys worth!nnIt must be noted however that the ambience here is on the louder end not in a bad way; thus if you’re looking for a dinner with constant conversation, it may be difficult to accomplish here.
This was my first time at a Scaddabush restaurant. We were a group of 5 and we had a reservation but we were running a little late but that was not an issue. We ordered the Charity Bread and Balsamic Mozzarella ball for apps and they were both really good bread for the mozza ball was a little overdone. I ordered the Pasta Carbonara and it was very good and a huge serving. Everyone else was happy with their choice too. For dessert 3 of us had Tiramisu and 2 shared some almond torte. The Tiramisu was very good and I've had Tiramisu in Italy. Wednesday is half price off bottles of wine, so we ordered 2 house red and it was pretty good. The service was very good and she had some good recommendations.
Absolutely loved Scaddabush! This is definitely one of those restaurants I know I’ll keep coming back to.nnThe atmosphere was beautiful, warm, and lively, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends. The service was smooth, the food came out fresh, and everything felt high quality from start to finish.nnThe pasta was honestly one of the best pastas I’ve had in a long time. Rich flavor, perfectly cooked, creamy without being too heavy, and just incredibly satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back just to try more of their pasta dishes.nnEven my friend, who usually never orders pasta and isn’t really a pasta person at all, tried it and was genuinely impressed. She kept tasting mine and said next time she’s definitely ordering pasta for herself!nnThe garlic bread itself was soft rather than crispy, but honestly the garlic flavor and the sauce were delicious that it made it special.nnOverall, such a great experience. Beautiful space, delicious food, and definitely a restaurant worth returning to again and again.
Always a great experience and amazing food. The service is rather fast considering how fast they usually get. There’s always a wait time without reservation but it’s worth it. As a non steak eater I highly recommend their holiday menus steak and shrimp. Very flavourful and a balanced meal with the side of broccolini. Our server, Kieren was extremely polite, professional and helpful. He noticed us waiting for a while and went out of his way to help us order sooner.
