Giulietta

This is, hands down, the best Italian restaurant in Toronto. I was incredibly lucky to snag a reservation after much difficulty.n​The cocktails here are exceptional, and the pasta is on a completely different level. The detailed flavor and presentation of every single main dish were absolutely top-notch.n​It was a perfect evening, right down to the dessert. I will definitely be visiting again!

Superb meal from start to finish! Ordered the beef tartare, mushroom pizza, octopus, agnolotti, ragu and tiramisu - every dish was absolutely delicious! The pastas in particular were outstanding - delicate yet full of flavour. The service and ambience were also impeccable. One of the best meals I’ve had in Toronto, definitely on the pricier side but highly recommend!

My friend and I were celebrating a recent big win in our lives and the Giulietta staff were so kind and accommodating. We hadn’t made a reso and they were super busy on a Tuesday near the holidays but they were able to find seating near the chefs counter. I actually loved this seating! It was warm and really fun to watch them cook.nnThe champagne was great and so was the food. The squash pasta and tarte were especially incredible. This is one of those restaurants where you see what other people ordered and get jealous.

What an incredible time we had at Giulietta! From the warm greeting we experienced upon arrival from the front of house staff, excellent service from Isabella and “dinner and a show” while sitting at chef’s table from Chef Aaron and crew. All dishes we ordered were delicious and beautifully composed: we had the radicchio salad incredible dressing, scallops crudo, agnolotti SO good, pork chop definitely enough for two and broccolini. For dessert it was a toss-up btw torta della nonna and the tiramisu - so we had both! I hadn’t been to Giulietta in about a year - and this restaurant hasn’t lost a step. Highly recommend!

All the dishes we ordered were great, but most of them weren’t too special or noteworthy. The burrata was one of our favourites, but we wish the grape stems could be removed. Pizza wasn’t anything special, and the dough had a nice texture but wasn’t flavourful itself. The autumn pasta with squash was nice but nothing special. Our favourite dish of the night was the lamb ragu which was amazing. We had the tiramisu, torta dela nonna and cheesecake to end. Tiramisu is on the heavier side, very bitter with a strong rum flavour which may not appeal to everyone. Cheesecake and torta dela nonna were both great but nothing amazing.nnThe service from start to finish was amazing and we really felt taken care of.
