I went there for brunch and ordered their special. The food was just okay; the pasta was fine, but the other two items from the brunch menu weren't even worth the wait. The dessert was super dry, like a kitchen sponge. It was a Nutella donut.nnThe table was sticky; it was a super old wooden one and had some crumbled pieces on it, maybe it was bread or brownie. The music was super loud; it was impossible to talk at all. And the DJ was super concentrated on taking pictures and filming. I would say even Spotify does better. The server was nice, but each thing took him more than 40-50 minutes. Taking the order, the food, serving desserts, paying the bills... It's not a big deal if you come to hang out and have fun, but the overall atmosphere doesn't make you want to stay that long. They didn't have toilet paper inside all the toilet cabins, by the way. Maybe they do better on other days, but for now, that's what I've got.
Oretta exceeded every expectation. From the moment I reached out to the moment our team of more than twenty people walked through the doors, everything was seamless. I needed a reservation only a few days before our event, and despite the short notice, the coordination was flawless. Rachael, who handled our booking, was exceptional. She provided every detail we needed, communicated clearly and quickly, and ensured that our reservation was confirmed without any stress on our end.nnWhen we arrived, we were given a private dining area that was absolutely stunning. It was beautifully designed, spacious, and perfect for a large group. Every single guest commented on how impressive the space was, and it truly set the tone for an elevated dining experience.nnWe chose the family-style menu, which turned out to be the perfect choice. The antipasti came out fresh and flavorful, the pizzas were so abundant that we even had leftovers, and the pastas were cooked to perfection. Dessert, rich, balanced, and beautifully presented, was a memorable finish. Every dish felt carefully prepared and thoughtfully served.nnBetween the gorgeous aesthetics, the warm and attentive service, and the phenomenal food, Oretta delivered on all fronts and then some. I would absolutely return, whether for another team event or a personal night out. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish.
came here around 1pm on a sunday and it was not too busy. amongst me and my 2 friends we ordered two orders of the PANE FRANCESE french toast and a order of the PIEMONTE mushroom pizza. my friend absolutely loves the french toast and spoke highly of it so i wanted to try it for myself, also while looking around it seemed to be a very popular item. i thought the french toast was decent at first but it got dry very quickly. it only tasted good when you had the toast with the tiramisu cream and berries. if you don’t eat it evenly, the other two layers get very dry can tell by the pics and it’s also not soaked in the batter at all. personally i would not pay $25 for each plate, one to share was enough. i liked the mushroom pizza a lot more, it had good flavours and the roasted mushroom was very tasty. the downside was how little it was… the pizza was very flat which is good but i feel like im eating air. the crust was overly too thick and you really only have ingredients in the centre of the pizza. which is was more dispersed throughout the whole pizza.nservice wasn’t too bad, tho i mainly had to raise my hand when i needed something as they don’t come by asking how everything is/if you need something. ambiance is nice i liked the garden look to itn3 plates costed me i believe $86? and with tip i spent $100, not sure if its worth it i would probably spend it somewhere else
Lovely Italian spot with a great outdoor seating area.nnThere was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it. The pizza was tasty and the gluten free dough was impressive. We also ordered the fried polenta which was so tasty and definitely worth getting again.nnThe side of olives wasn’t really worth it and took ages to arrive, but that didn’t take away from how good the rest of the meal was.
Went during Winterlicious 2026. Such great value for money. The food at Oretta has never disappointed and this time was no different. Everything tasted so good and fresh, and our server Nish was excellent.nnHe gave great recommendations and we were also able to pair some additional apps and wine from the happy hour menu.nnThere is so much natural light if you are seated near the windows and come before sunset. Not to mention the interior is stunning and spacious and you don’t feel cramped at all even when the restaurant is at full capacity.nnJust had a great meal with authentic Italian flavours and fresh ingredients and you could really taste that.
