La Vecchia Restaurant Lakeshore

A high-end Italian restaurant, well located on a decent scenic location having roadside parking in front. The décor and ambiance of the place is very good. Variety of food dishes and their taste is excellent. All dishes are well presented and served in decent crockery. We ordered Beef, fish, pizza, various starters and ice cream. Every dish was perfect to expectation. I can fully recommend this place for best dinning experience.

It is near the waterfront bike trail and some cool walking paths.nnThis is a bustling Italian restaurant that is very busy on the weekends. They have a beautiful dining room with a bar, and a bright covered patio.nnService here is not rushed, and thoughtful definitely a place to come and take your time. Everyone here really cares that you have a good time.nnThe food here has lots of classic Italian favorites. Lots of apps, pastas, and pizzas, but also has a nice selection of entrees that pick from seasonal ingredients. Portions are quite large and can be shared, my preferred way to dine.nnCocktails are on point, and a wine list full of hand selected Italian and French wines.nnDessert is also phenomenal here. Worth the extra calories.nnOver the management team here know what they are doing and it shows from how the restaurant operates.nnNote that it is on the louder side when at capacity, and the parking in the area is limited and busy due to the location on the waterfront.

We made a reservation for a Saturday brunch on their heated patio and we got lucky that it was a windy day and we could find a parking spot on Lakeshore, close to the restaurant, otherwise we would’ve needed to park far from the restaurant.nnThe heated patio is a plus; you can enjoy your food and company outside, but in a warm climate.nnWe ordered steak and scrambled egg, avocado + smoked salmon and egg Benedict. The food was healthy and delicious. The service was quick and we even stayed longer to socialize after we paid for our meal and it was okay since they still had tables available.

We recently visited Le Vecchia Restaurant Lakeshore in Etobicoke for lunch, eager to try their renowned dishes. We ordered the famous pesto pasta with chicken and the pear and cheese pizza. While the food was pleasant, it didn't quite live up to the high expectations set by the reviews. The pesto pasta lacked the robust flavor we were anticipating, and the pizza, although unique, could have benefited from more seasoning.nnAdditionally, the service was notably disorganized. Our bill was mixed up with another table's, leading to a confusing and time-consuming process to rectify the situation, which included a refund and then a repayment. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which affected the overall dining experience.nnFor improvement, the restaurant could benefit from enhancing the flavor profile of their dishes and addressing service efficiency. Better training and streamlined billing processes could greatly improve the overall dining experience.

I came here with my boyfriend for his birthday. I’ve never experienced a dinner like this in a long time. The food of was absolutely amazing! The service was top notch! We had Tom as our waiter and you can tell he actually loves what he does and is very knowledgeable about the whole menu! His recommendations were spot on. Every single employee here is friendly and very welcoming. We will be back for sure! Definitely #1 in Italian food and the atmosphere is really nice! All old school photos and movies playing so the whole restaurant can watch that as well. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
