Wonderful joint run by a few Viet mamas. The food here is delightful not only because it tastes good but under $14 price point makes this place a must! Butter garlic chicken wings taste amazing with the butter sauce and crunchy fried garlic bits on the wing itself. The spring rolls have an amazing crunch as well as taste. The lemongrass chicken was a decent portion and didn’t feel greasy. It has a decent amount of char to enhance the flavour profile of the meat. I’m glad this place is close by!!!
Opening special, 20% discount off everything. Great food and lovely atmosphere. Owners were super friendly and attentive. Even without the discount, the prices are very reasonable. We had the Bun Bo Hue and House Special. The Bun Bo Hue was delicious. Perfectly spiced and flavourful. The lemongrass chilli really shone through giving the broth a very rich yet light mouth feel. The rice noodle was perfect, chewy yet firm. And it didn’t absorb much of the soup flavour which was amazing. Id highly recommend the Bun Bo Hue. The pho could be better. Broth was a little too light for my liking, and the pho noodles were a little too easily broken. Portions were good though, one size only but just the right amount of noodle to meat to broth ratio. The beef was tender and very delicious. Light but flavourful. Spring rolls are a must try. Well made and very crispy. Highly recommended. Service is impeccable. Place is very very clean but slightly small. Id recommend going in smaller groups if you wish to dine in.
Very clean and bright location. The service was prompt and the owners Vietnamese moms were very nice to us. Food was tasty and authentic. Will be coming back with family Vietnamese coffee was also delicious!
Super accommodating and lovely folks running the restaurant! Came in with a large group and were willing to move things around for us : delicious food and great prices!Food: 5/5
I notice it was a new vietnamese place why driving by. A few friends and I decided to go there. I saw the reviews and couldn't believe it was 5 stars with an amount of reviews, so I had to go and check it out. The spring rolls and salad roll, felt like it was made in a house hold as if I was over at a friend's house that had made them. It was good! Vietnamese coffee was very creamy, they must of added alot of condense milk. It was tasty to me. Chicken rice dish was freshly made, juicy and savory wasn't too burn and fried. Bunbohue was pretty heavy as there was a thick layer of oil on top of soup. Spicy seafood noodle soup. Kinda didn't have any remarks that made me want to comment. Was simple dish Cost was very cheap to my opinon location is good since many students are in the area. Small joint. The workers are nice and kind Parking: Park within the neighborhood and walk a block or get lucky and park on the main street it's on.
Tried out a new Vietnamese spot, The Clouds Vietnamese Cuisine, for a late dinner. They were offering 20% off for their grand opening. Service was friendly and sweet. Shared salad rolls $7.50, bun bo hue $14.45 and bun cha ca dac biet $14.45. The fish cakes were different; super bouncy texture, which we enjoyed. Broth was clean and aromatic. The BBH was decent but broth was lacking depth. Looking forward to trying more noodle soups.
I highly recommend the restaurant for its delicious and affordable food. The lemongrass chicken rice is a must-try dish that is both flavorful and satisfying. The tender chicken pieces are infused with fragrant lemongrass, and the rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portion size is generous, making it a great value for money. The service is also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant and would definitely visit again.
Eaten here twice now. Both times very delicious! First time I got the pho but today I got the vermicelli. I highly recommend this place!!!!Food: 5/5
Newly opened Vietnamese restaurant in the area run by a few viet mamas. Food just tastes amazing and authentic. Chicken wings were freshly made and delicious. Very flavourful. 14 dollars for a bowl a pho, where in vancouver can you find prices like that?Food: 5/5
Very very delicious pho! Great vibes there with good lighting and nice music. Friendly staff and kept the place very clean. The prices were very affordable. They also have a really nice bathroom with good lighting. Would come again! :
