Relatively new Vietnamese shop opened up in River District. Tall ceilings and a pretty mural on one wall. Food is pretty good and welcome addition to the area. The pho dac biet had plenty of meat would have liked it if it rare beef in it. The chicken wings in garlic fish sauce were tasty with a nice savory bite but a bit on the small side. Also tried the shrimp salad roll which we enjoyed the sauce was a bit on the thin side. And the lychee smoothie was very refreshing on a hot day. On another visit, we tried their shaken beef dish. It's not served with rice which is unusual since the sauce is sooo good and it would have been perfect with some steamed rice. It comes with a large fried rice chip which gets a bit soggy from the sauce. Would have been easier to eat of the beef cubes were cut smaller. Their cold cut banh mi had lots of meat inside the crusty bread. And while I usually prefer pork spring rolls that use rice paper wrappers, I did enjoy the crisp spring rolls here. Service was a bit odd but that might be because they're new. Some of the prices are on the higher side too maybe that's the new norm. Update: The meatballs in the Bun Bo Hue are really good.
The special pho is sooooooo delicious the meat is soft the broth is gold ! Very goood i recommend Garlic butter noodle with shrimp and the chicken wings best restaurant ever must try . Beautiful atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Nicely located pho place, I ordered the chicken pho and it was pretty good. The food also came out super fast and the waitresses were very attentive. Cool decor and place was very clean. If you're in the mood for pho and are in the area, this is a decent place to tryFood: 4/5
Relatively new Vietnamese restaurant that opened up in the River District. A few reviews mention it’s pricier than other restaurants - this is true, but the portions are large for pho. Other restaurants I’ll pay $15 but get a small portion of noodles and meat. Both myself and my friend ordered a bowl of pho each and we had leftovers for a second meal so much meat and noodle!!. Also ordered spring rolls and fried chicken. Superb service. Decent place if you’re in the nbhd and looking for a noodle fix.
Great food, prices on the high end but worth it. The special rice dish is highly recommended if you are hungry. Chicken wings were great too.Food: 5/5
The food is tasty, service awesome. Just order the shaking beef with hard fried egg, chicken salad and chicken wing. I love salad with fresh veggies and herb. Should try chicken wing.Food: 4/5
Friendly staff and very clean restaurant! The food was good and the noodle portion was generous. Update: I went again a week later and the broth was lighter than I remembered. I’ll give it one more try for a final verdict. Update: After 3 visits, the wings were great, rice platter was good and the broth was inconsistent sometimes being too diluted and sometimes being great.
I visited District Noodle earlier today. My 6 year old son and I tried the pork spring roll and chicken banh mi. Both were super tasty. Portions were generous. Pricing was great value and staff were all very friendly. I am excited about going here again! Great spot. Ownership clearly takes pride in offering authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Finally got around to trying this place and overall it’s good. The food is tasty and the pho broth is nice. Their chicken wings are covered in a bit too much sugar for my taste - it numbs the spice beyond the point of being balanced. Also, given that it is still a pho place and not a gourmet pho or elevated dining experience, the price point is wrong. Too expensive and even if it’s closer, it’s not better than other spots that are much cheaper. If they adjusted the cost of their pho bowls by 2 dollars then it would be a competitor. Also, their toppings are limited in comparison to cheaper places - no tripe, no seafood..so if you enjoy anything other than gourmet cuts this is not the place for you.
I had food catered for my baby shower from district noodle and it was a huge a success. Food at an event is a really big deal for my family and I received so many compliments. Such Incredible food and service, you really can't go wrong!!!Food: 5/5
