I've found my goto place for Bún bò Huế! Beef shank tender, pork hock chewable, pork sausage tasty, pork blood awesome, noodles slurpy, and broth spicy without being unpleasant. Appetizers: Beef offal tender and its gravy tasty. Chicken wings fresh and juicy. Restaurant spacious with banquettes, nice artistic flourishes, and AC -- woohoo! Hear they're expanding the menu too, to include popular items like phở. Looking forward to coming back.
Great food! Delicious and I love this btw my friend's parents opened this restaurant
oops there is no vegetarian option. The non vegetarian food was goodFood: 4/5
Great food
AUthentic Vietnamese food. We love coming here.Food: 5/5
Very good experience during their "Soft Opening" service was good and the food were nice. Andy manager and the staff were very friendly. Looking forward to try other items in the future as there was only 4 entree items on menu for now. We tried House Special Fish noodle & spicy beef noodle are very good.
Very nice food, comfortable place, I like itFood: 5/5
Special fish soup is tasty but very skimpy on fish. We like the broth of the fish noodle soup but the pieces of fried and steamed fish were so small I couldn’t find them. The broth is light in flavour with a slight sweet and sour taste. For $17.50 a bowl I expected more food than this. Restaurant decor and ambience is pleasant.
First of all, this place have great decor and ambiance! Service was alright. However, the food was lacklustre. They ran out of their special fish bowl despite being only around 7:30pm. Bummer. We strive on and ordered the bun bo hue, beef intestines with coconut milk and sautéed beef rice dish. The bun bo hue was plain, beef offal was a bit bitter and the beef rice dish was cool I think it would taste a lot better if this dish was hotter. We had high hopes for this place, but was left disappointed.
This is an unique Vietnamese restaurant. We wanted to try their signature noodles, but sold out So we tried fish noodles and beef noodles, both r great. The fish noodles soup base was so good, they put a very special flavor and ingredients in it, which we have never tasted here. We asked the owner what is the veggies in it. We had only have that in Vietnam. He told us that's Petiole of Dasheen. My hubby is half Vietnamese, he was so surprised he had that at Vancouver. We also ordered chicken wing which cooked perfectly, tasty and refreshing with some lemon leaves. We really wanted to try their beef offal stew, unfortunately sold out Finally we ordered a three layer coffe, omg so good. We r definitely will be back to try their full menu.
