The price here is on the higher side for what one receives and also considering its location, decor, ambience etc - which is mediocre at best. Service is still somewhat choppy but with time should improve. Taste is good, one of the better tasting pho places if price wasn’t a factor. Ingredients are fresh, in particular the beef used is tender. The rice noodles came in a giant ball that felt like it sat in the bowl for awhile - stuck together. The price here is probably its biggest weakness as one would expect $15 pho Large size is actually quite small to have more in quantity of food because certainly its quality did not justify its price tag. Perhaps I am just oblivious to inflation and less sensitive but I eat at many different pho places and the first impression I get from this place - despite having good taste - is stinginess. There are for sure quite a few other pho places in the $15 range that surpasses this place so the competition will only get tougher for the, I presume, new owners of Saigon Grand re-opening today sign. Overall 3 stars but its taste 4+ Stars for sure is worth a try on its own merits at least once. For us, returning to eat is 50/50.
I really am not sure when people are complaining about portion size. I often eat here and am very happy with the portions. I think maybe people have just not adjusted to the new reality of inflation. Anyways, this family run Viet place is very good. They make everything fresh, including their tasty chili oil and they use rice wraps for their spring rolls. Their pho is hot and tasty and I recently had a bun bowl as well which had a lot of pork and a lot of salad and noodles. It easily could have been two portions but I was hungry. The service is always friendly and the food is consistent.
Amazing value for money! We ordered a couple of dishes and the food was very tasty, good quality with big portions. The spring rolls are excellent! The owner is also very friendly and will make you feel right at home. We will definitely come back!
They're back and better than before. Modern inside atmosphere and settings. Open a little later. Dinner menu as well as lunch menu. Got 3 different beers on tap.
Been here for the last couple of years. This spot really for the last several when it was under different management and name. Same Viet food, but different tastes, and different is good. Really like the bo kho and bun bo hue. The classic Pho Dac Biet and chicken leg pho also slaps!Food: 5/5
10/10 food. I been there twice n they didn’t disappoint. Food arrives lil late but i mean it’s worth the wait…
The best Vietnamese restaurant in town. All the dishes have the same taste in Saigon, Vietnam especially Pho and Pork Chop on rice. Highly recommend for those who want to try authentic Vietnamese food.
Very reasonable price, very tasty, and big portions of food. We ordered papaya salad, pho with sliced beef, chicken Banmi. And all of them are very very Good!! Strongly recommend you!!Food: 5/5
I really enjoy this place they are very consistent. friendly. and the food taste great most impotently. been going here now for a number of years with zero complaints. highly recommend.
Completely agree with other reviews in that the food tastes great but the portions are notably smaller compared to other Vietnamese restaurants! I got the lemongrass chicken with vermicelli and only got one piece of chicken. It was delicious but not worth the $14.50.
