Cash only. The pho broth in #7 rare beef and beef balls was great but everything else was just good. My mom got #40 a spicy pho and she said it wasn't spicy. The spring rolls were super crunchy but lacking in flavour compared to other places. The sauce for the spring rolls which I usually love was also lacking in flavour.Food: 4/5
Originally, I came to Olympic Village for another restaurant, but it was closed, and this was the next choice besides Japanese. The dining room was dead. Just 1 table occupied. No free parking in or that near Olympic Village, unless you walk more than 2 blocks from the south side of 2nd Ave, like 3rd or 4th. Service was sparse as it seems maybe family-run, and when business is dead, maybe only 1 out front and 1 in the back. The guy out front tried to make the effort for service, but it was just the minimum. The lemongrass porkchop pho was just ok to not good. I've never had broccoli in pho before, but it was a topping. The porkchop was slice so thin that it was not really appetizing. The lemongrass chicken rice, on the other hand, was tasty. Again, sliced thin, but I guess since this is a grilled dish, it was more tasty. There was plenty of rice and salad to accompany the meat. There's enough here to get full unless you are a big eater. Only came here as I already committed to a parking meter. Otherwise, we would have driven somewhere else for noodles.
•July 2023• the lemongrass chicken with fried rice was delicious! The spring rolls were so crispy! Really funky interior
This was the best meal I had in a while!! Nr. 47, lemon grass chicken was amazing. The taste, the size, everything. and these cute chairs they have Food: 5/5
They take cash only! We sat on the patio and service was non-existent. I had to go in to tell the server we're ready to order. After our food came I had to go back inside to grab hot sauce off another table. The server did not check on us once and we had to go inside to ask for the bill. The place is also not very clean and their menus need to be wiped. We ordered a regular pho and a pho satay. The broth was weak and had lots of msg.
For some reason I didn't expect much from this restaurant but it was actually quite decent. The pho isn't the best I've had but it was still good. This is probably one of the cheaper Vietnamese restaurants in the city and they are very generous with their portions. The dining room could use a makeover and the menus need to be wiped clean. The servers here tend to forget you exist after you receive your food. If you're looking for Vietnamese food in the Olympic village area, this place is as good as it gets. They're open late as well.
Would be 5 when it had decent prices . Recently they raise the price and also give you less . Bringing a whole new meaning to less is more . Unfortunately I will no longer go . Or recommend. Bahn mi is supposed to be relatively cheap. These folks overload with cilantro carrots and cucumber and slack on the chicken. Cash only . Which I don't mind but it makes me wonder about the portions/accounting . The customer is definitely taking a hit on this one . Sad was a good spot
The portion sizes are very big for the price of the meal, are until stuffed and had to get take out. The food is delicious as well!! It’s cash only that’s the only thing. We ordered the lemon chicken vermicelli and lemon pork chops + fried rice.
Food was good, size large is very good portion.Food: 5/5
I enjoyed the pho I ordered very much! It was spicy, savoury, and full of flavour. My family shared the Extra Large and we were all full, so the portion was great. It was hard to order due to communication issues, but in the end, we got what we wanted, so all's well that ends well.Food: 5/5
