The Beagle Pub

Went last Sunday, when Cook Street Village had a market- it was super busy, the patio was packed outside! Had a dog, party of 4. We checked with the hostess, and thankfully there was another patio section in the back of the restaurant, with a few other dogs also hanging out. The energy was good, server was very accurate in taking our orders. I got a beef dip with onion rings- pretty good, the batter was crispy, and not too thick. The beef dip was flavourful. The rest of us also were happy with the food, presentation looked very tidy. I recommend, especially for those wanting to bring their dogs! Nice patio.

Hm I don’t think I woulw recommend this place to be honest. The service was not good, the food was mediocre at best and it’s a bit expensive for what it is. I did not like the beef stroganoff at all, the beef was very dry and tasteless. The dip was good but didn’t give nearly enough pita, then it was overpriced for extra pita. The fish and chips was actually a lot and we couldn’t finish it, but it was just ok. We had multiple different servers and didn’t know who we should talk to. Not attentive. Took too long to get their attention so we could get the bill. Not great parking either.

Great wings, delicious tuna burger and amazing service. Our server was super attentive, patient and made a huge impact on our visit. Place was pretty busy but not at the expense of their service or food. Looking forward to my next visit.

Only my 3rd time in here and today I came for a bite to eat. Well it happened to be just before 4p so I decided to get the Montreal poutine with the smoked beef. Being an east coast maritimer originally from the north shores of New Brunswick I know a thing or two about authentic poutine and smoked meat. Trust me when I tel you to order this of your hungry. The serving is huge and it is absolutely delicious. Not to mention how welcoming and friendly the staff are. Tell them Dino sent you. Cheers .

Excellent Saturday brunch. Super tasty, good value and the nicest server - Cloe! Double-Double breakfast for me great sausage and soup and salad for the missus amazing candied pecans in the salad! Thanks Beagle pub and Cloe!

Great assortment of beers, good food, fast and friendly service

We took friends here from out of town for lunch and the food was excellent. We had the Baron of beef served with Ceasar salad and another with French onion soup. Also the Double double breakfast and the Clubhouse sandwich which was huge and delicious. Service was good too. Our only complaint was that none of the servers were wearing masks. We feel that for an extra bit of safety they should have been wearing them. Otherwise my review would have been 5 stars!

The garden mule cocktail was great. The French onion soup was pretty good. However the cooks clearly did not care about their work that day. Seeing them out back smoking looking like they hated being there. The squid was undercooked greasy and soggy batter. Worst Caesar I’ve ever had. Asked for extra spicy extra muddy. Tasted like water. Drinks were forgotten at the bar. No water until we’ll after the food came: would not go back

The Beagle is a local favourite and it's easy to understand why. They have an extensive beer list and excellent nachos. If you're looking for a place to have a drink and watch the game, you'll be hard pressed to find somewhere better than The Beagle.
