Taqueria Tachingon

Had the burrito bowl and the tacos. The bowl was delicious. I loved the flavors but it was a bit too pricey for the amount of food. As for the tacos, i love that the shells are toasted and the toppings are very flavorful. The pork belly is a must try. It’s super crispy and juicy. The salsa is great too, but I wish we had a bit more options

I was surprised to find this gem in Kits! Authentic, fresh, simple. Price is very reasonable considering how much it costs to eat tacos around Vancouver. My new favourite taco place. A must-try. The only thing I wish it had was more options for salsa. But other than that 10/10! I tried their meat and veggie tacos, both delicious!

Among the best Mexican food I have had, period. I tried it after a person from Texas told me they had given up on finding authentic Mexican food in BC until she tried this place. Only one visit so far, tried beef taco and chicken taco with adobo sauce, and a tortilla soup. Great portion size for soup. A little pricey, but far more than worth it.

I usually do not write reviews on restaurants, but this place was so good that I decided to leave a review. I tried 6 different tacos beef sirloin, pork belly, chicken mole, fish, beef tongue, shrimp and ALL of them were amazing. I have been to Mexico and I can assure you that the flavors are absolutely authentic. People were really friendly too. The salsa sauce was pretty hot but not too extreme to kill the original flavor. Highly recommend if you want inexpensive but authentic Mexican food in Vancouver!!

THE best mexican food joint in Vancouver. The Torta De Milanese sandwich should go down as one of this cities best. The pork belly taco is ‍. The owners are the sweetest people too. Wish them all the success.

Absolutely delicious food with so much flavour! We tried 5 tacos and they were all delicious, I really appreciate that you can order singles. They double the tortilla which was great since the tacos were packed with toppings. The menu is huge, we'll be back to try more.

Incredible! Authentic mexican food served up in a cozy hole in the wall. We got the Kits burrito and a variety of tacos, and everything was delicious. I also got the horchata and churros, which I highly recommend. Limited seating as it’s tiny.

Tasty ! Relatively affordable and similar to what I was eating in the yucatan. I got 3 al pastor, 1 pork belly and the far left was the beef fajita. Best is the pork belly. The meat was crispy, the Flavors amazing. The al pastor was good but I wish it had more cilantro and onions. Beef fajita was meh. This really is one of the best taco joints in Vancouver. Kind of wished they would expand like sal y lemon or tacofino. These guys are way better than those. Ps come to Richmond, there’s no competition here and I’ll come visit every week for sure

We’ve been going to Tachingón from the day they opened, and I have to say, it might be one of the most best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to, at least in Vancouver! We highly recommend the Pescado, the Pork Belly, and the Carnitas tacos, although the tacos are a little on the pricier side. I will definitely be coming back!Recommended dishesTacos

Normally I will not give a bad review and I support small businesses but I was very disappointed with the taste of the food. It seems like everything was pre-made, no freshness.The food was mediocre. The tacos are cheap and very small. All the tacos lacked flavor except the shrimp taco. I was also not happy at getting 1 plastic bag when they should be using paper bags, and was charged 90 cents for 2 bags. The ordering process was frustrating because I couldn’t see what she put in. I highly recommend that you check out the other taco places in Kits. This place was my worst taco experience.
