Bingo Taco

This place has a great vibe . I guess its because the bar is in the middle and seating is all around the bar so you can see everything and everyone if you want to or just chill on your comfortable seats on the side. Clean and casual otherwise. Servers and staff are working diligently to make the guests comfortable. They even have a take out window for the times of COVID-19 Lets start with the huge collection of drinks and particularly tequilas. Starting from 1800 coconut to camareno reposado, don julio blanco … they have it all. My server got me jose cuerio taquila cocktail which was the right mood setter with just 2oz Variety of mezcal is also on menu apart from spirits and beer on tap. Happy hours is long. I love the deals like taco tuesday for 25% off and Wednesday whiskey shots for just $4.50 I mean who wouldn’t grab a drink and enjoy the music at a cost efficient price. ‍‍‍ lets go

We came here for Alphabet City's fried chicken but they were unfortunately not serving it that day. We opted to try Bingo Taco instead, despite the poor reviews. Everything was just... ok. We had the chips and salad but the chips were stale. I had the beef rice bowl but they were out of the red rice that day. The bowl itself was OK but felt like something I could have easily pulled together at home. A bit over-priced for the mediocre food. Service was friendly but slow. The space and atmosphere is great, especially with the open air windows which is great for this summer heat. Unfortunately I would not come back.

Friendly staff and good food. We had the taco special for the day and the veggie burrito. We really liked the vibe of the place.

This is a nice spot, I came here yesterday with a friend. The tacos are good, and the servers are nice. However, the lowest default tipping option presented on the card reader is 18%. I am disappointed to see that this establishment is taking advantage of covid-era tipping expectations which were understandably raised due to reduced capacity and footfall by continuing to employ them despite the fact restrictions have been lifted and things are relatively back to normal in this industry. This is greedy, audacious, and you're aware of what you're doing. Just because other establishments are doing this doesn't mean you should too. This does not meet my personal standards for a satisfactory experience, and as such I am awarding one star. Before anyone responds to let me know I can enter a custom tip, I know; I do. That is irrelevant to my point, as well as an understandably uncomfortable thing for a customer to have to do while serving staff stand by the table. This is a growing problem in Vamcouver. 15% is more appropriate.

Honestly a waste of money, the tacos were so unbelievably dry I don't know how the "cheff" could send that out. All the meat in the taco and no sauce. A little bit of guacamole very tiny bit spread throughout the taco. $14 for 2 tacos. Maybe cut down on the meat portion and do like many other successful taco joints and make your tacos good and actually worth buying like 3 or 4. Never ever coming here again wouldn't recommend 10/10 the worst taco place I've been too.

Absolutely the worst service I ever received. I was dining alone at the bar and was fully ignored for over 25m to place an order. I had to flag the hostess/server to place my order because bartender was ignoring me. I got my chips and guacamole and waited another 30m for my drink. When I finally did get my drink it was made incorrectly. Another waiter served it to me and spilled it all over the table and didn't even wipe it up. My eating area was all wet and sticky. I should've read all the poor reviews this restaurant had received. I did not leave a tip because of lack of service. Yes, you could suddenly be slammed with customers but at least acknowledge me too. They lost me as a valuable future customer and will not recommend this place to my friends and family. The hostess/server was empathetic to my unhappy dining experience. The food is mediocre. The chips tasted just like Que Pasa and guacamole was from deli aisle from Costco.

We randomly stumbled upon Bingo Taco while searching for something open on a Tues on Main. We were starving and didn’t look at the reviews until after we ordered. We were worried with the bad reviews that it wasn’t going to be good. To our surprise the tacos were really yummy and flavourful. They were loaded with meat and toppings. We were really satisfied. Seems like the bad reviews were mainly for the dine in service. We took it to go and had no issues. With the staff shortage in restaurants I can understand things would take a bit longer. Our experience was great however. Will come back again.

Pros: - Friendly staff - Nice atmosphere/aesthetic Cons: - Understaffed. There were only 2 people on staff on a busy Saturday. The cook was also waiting the food. - Food was mediocre, at best. I ordered the Fajita and Asada tacos and they were so dry and bland. The guac was also under seasoned. - Overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food - Dangerous. The cook was transporting hot pots of food from the back kitchen to the front counter through the dining room amidst customers. That’s an accident waiting to happen. If you’re looking for good Mexican food, go elsewhere.

Excellent tacos! Came in for lunch after noticing this new little pick up window they opened and had a chat with the gentleman making tacos. My wife is Mexican and eat high quality Mexican food on a regular basis. I tried their carnitas and birria, they were both delicious. The chef hand delivered them to my table, I could tell he hade pride in what he was making. I will definitely be coming back.
