Puerto Mexico

Came here today to grab some tacos and were super happy with the flavours. Ended up getting a couple extra just so we could savour the flavours a little longer. Guac was super fresh. Carlos was very nice and hospitable. Definitely coming back for more.Recommended dishesCarnitas, Chorizo Taco, Mole

This store has tons of stuff, at a really good price! They have a whole selection of dried chillies, organic blue corn tortillas, different kinds of masa, hot sauces, salsas, and beans. There’s also a small deli-style place where you can actually order tacos! The owner is super nice and very gregarious. I cannot recommend supporting this place enough if you live in the Kitsilano area. It’s a LOT better than other options in the vicinity.

The place is rather homey and $4 per taco is at a decent price tho they aren’t the best tacos in town but the owners are very friendly.

I finally found tacos that hit the taco spot in my belly. I’ve been craving good tacos and nothing local has satisfied - until now! Their son Andres ? was on till and was so sweet. He gives good recommendations for treats if you ask him! Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Friendly face and attitude as soon as you walk in. This place is simple and to the point. I had a combo, chefs choice of 4 Tacos. Not kidding it almost brought years to my eyes; remembering Mexico, the perfect, varied flavors and two shells per taco. The little things and big flavor make a difference. Last is the all the special recipe sides, salsa, guac, just to start. If you can't be in Mexico you can be here.

Stopped in to for lunch today. I had no idea what to order or how to order. They were pretty patient with me. It tasted good! 4 tacos, 1 ground beef, 1 chicken mole, 1 mushroom, and 1 refried beans, may have been too much for me though. Picked up some tamarind candy while I was there and a jaritos guava. Vegetarian options: They have a taco with beans and a taco with mushrooms. I enjoyed both.

Lovely little store with lots of great Mexican imports at fair prices. His tacos are FANTASTIC!! Eat them at the store or bring them down to the beach. The mushroom one is my favourite. Vegetarian options: Mushroom taco

Delicious hot tacos that were ready in 3 mins. The guy who served us went above and beyond, he was so friendly, and so polite. You can sure tell that he cares about the business. The chicken mole tacos were so tasty!!
