This place Is horrible!!! Worst Carne asada burrito I've ever had. I went here Wednesday 8/23/2023. I originally tried to go to the sandwich shop next door. Unfortunately the sandwich shop was closed due to some construction. Being that I was limited on time I decided to go to Los Chavos next door. NEVER AGAIN!! The meat in the burrito tasted old or spoiled. While I was waiting for my order I realized how dirty it was. It's looks like they don't even clean this place. I work just down the street and I've asked coworkers how it is. They all said don't go to Los Chavos it's gross. Well I found out for myself. I will never go back!! The health department needs to visit this place for sure. It's disgusting....I'm surprised I didn't get sick from the burrito. I ate about 1/3 of the burrito and threw it in the trash!

Best taco shop in El Cajon! My niece told me about it and damn, she was right! It's a wee bit more expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. Be prepared to have leftovers or maybe split your order, especially the pollo asado chips - fantastic and enough for 2-3!Food: 5/5

Wow fish tacos fresh when you order crispy delicious with cabbage red salsa is amazing!!! I even added four more fish tacos to go great customer service very friendly people!!!

First time for rolled Fish tacos.DELICIOUS. The staff is very friendly and there is indoor and outdoor seating.very casual. Great prices. Only$4.99 for 5 rolled Fish tacos. I will definitely be back.

A friend of mine came to visit. I hadn't seen my buddy in a long time. It was late at night and homie was hungry. To make a long story short, the carne asada is as tender and juicy as a pot roast. The California burrito was so big, that it completely filled the little white plate that they give you for takeout. The next day I had enough left to fill me up for lunch. The leftovers, I reheated them in my microwave and reheated the fries in my air fryer. Delicious. You have to eat whether you live in El Cajon or not. You got to try this place. Vegetarian options: No lard in the beans or tortillas Kid-friendliness: Excellent place for your kids, but I'd only bring your kids. Not a 6 year old's birthday party. Wheelchair accessibility: There's ample space for wheelchairs inside and out.

This place was just an accident! This GEM location is absolutely a Must!!!!!! If your a local of El Cajon. You absolutely have to try this location. The portion sizes are totally worth it!!!!!!!!!! Not just portion. But the flavor that runs through your mouth. And the smiles it puts on your face! If you see this photo. And you smile because of it. Its because this location is Special. You ask what burrito IS THAT!?!?!? LET ME TELL YA! ITS THE TITAN! OH YOU WANT IT EVEN MORE SPECIAL? MAKE IT DIABLO!!!! AHHHHH our to go bag is still about two pounds worth of left overs : thank Chavos!

Great Californian Mexican food. We got the carne asada burritos, carne asada fries, and beef flautas. The portion sizes were huge! We could only finish the part of carne asada fries. Super reasonable prices too. Amazing food, amazing prices. Definitely make this a stop if you're in San Diego.

Love this place. So many good burritos that are bigger than your head. My kids love the rolled tacos. The other food is probably good too but we are mostly burrito people.
