We had avocado chicken salad, chicken burrito and old fashioned drink. Everything was goods staff are super nice and friendly. Portions are pretty big comparing to the price. Drink menu for happy hour includes almost everything , which is nice plus few shareable options. Interior design is so cute and calming.
Delicious, fresh food! Great flavours, prices, and options! The staff was super friendly as well! We tried the nachos, bowl, salad, soup, tacos, burrito, cheesecake, and virgin mojitos, everything was great. The atmosphere is very cozy and it’s not too busy either. Definitely will come back! We already came three times during the week we were in Vancouver
I got the Spicy Mexican Burrito and a burrito bowl on two separate occasions, and both were delicious. There was plenty of shredded pork with a good balance of veggies and rice. The staff was also very friendly. Would definitely recommend!
It was a good portion of vegetables and meat. I chose beef option and it was very tasty. The prices are definitely much better than poke places. Enough space to sit for dine in. The only down side was that the music was very loud that I could barely hear the sataff when I was ordering and choosing vegetables for my dish. I definitely come back when I need some healthy food in my work break time.
Came by for a late lunch. Great options for building your own salad or bowl. I added grilled chicken as a protein, and combined with a brown rice base and 4 toppings, it was quite filling. My friend had a bowl and added guacamole, it was tasty and the guac balanced out how spicy their sriracha was! They appear to have seating upstairs, but it was closed when we went. Not a place for large groups as most of the tables are for 2. Service when ordering/customizing the meal was friendly. Will be back if I'm in the area!
I am really disappointed, honestly finding a live cockroach in my salad was the end of my confidence on this place. If you look closely to the corn right above the fork, you will see the cockroach resting. As soon as I was about to take a bite, the little thing came out of the last remaining leaves of my salad and I jumped out of my chair with a lot disgust taste in my mouth. I have the video of it moving around after I it uncovered from the bushes. I wish google would allow me to attach to this review. Anyways, big disappointment!
It looks like for the past two weeks, people have been rating this place less than two stars. I think the renovations were an improvement and made the restaurant more open and vibrant, but it will take time to get used to. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl, which was delicious! #supportlocals #supportsmallbusiness
I only ate here as it felt too awkward to turn around and leave after walking through the joint to the food counter at the end, it's really misleading on Google Maps making you think it's a Mexican cuisine but it is not at all. The food is crazy bland, no flavors and a basic below-par build your own burrito joint. Missing so many key elements, no seasoning, fresh herbs or even black pepper... I even had to pay extra for Jalapeños. This place is clearly a bar, I was so confused it has no character. We went on a Sunday at 14:00pm among family's and they were blasting out deep house music on subwoofers also explicit and very inappropriate, feeling like your eating in a nightclub in Ibiza. Hate to give a bad review but I have to be honest.
Yah....No....Don't. I got the salad with Beef. I don't even remember the name and it doesn't matter. 17 bucks it cost me. This is what I got: Greens that were a day away from being rotten. Veggies that tasted leftover. Miso dressing that had gone bad and curdled. Lemon chunks that had not been peeled mixed in with the salad see pics. "Here, have a lemon like you would an apple!" I stopped eating after two bites, because honestly I didn't want to risk getting food poisoning. With that kind of a start I didn't trust the kitchen to have kept the beef at appropriate standards, because the mistakes were so basic. When I first walked in.....the place seemed dark and dingy and their buffet of ingredients did set off alarm clocks as it didn't seem fresh and I guess I should've walked out. A massive disappointment and probably the worst salad I attempted to have.
Taco salad was tasty, good portions and affordable. The service was great too, although maybe switch up the music to something more chill for daytime felt like I was eating lunch in a club. My first time eating here wasn’t until after the new menu, so I can’t say how it compares to the old one, but the new menu is pretty small, could use a couple more salad options. The chain owner says due to food inflation they had to change the business model.
