Carnitas El Rolys

I have to agree that are the best carnitas in all Vancouver, I come from in town in Mexico experience in this cuisine and I can recommend Rolys 100%. I am sorry for the bad post maybe is people that eat at taco and doesn’t know about Mexican cuisine, honestly from a real Mexican you need to try them expecting the best.

Ordered 1kg of meat over the phone and was asked if I wanted lean or mixed. My bad for not knowing the difference. When I arrived they provided my order but it was some "combo pack" I hadn't ordered including pops and other stuff I didn't want. It was more expensive than what I asked for but I didn't have time for it to be remade. When I opened up the meat at home only about 25% was meat and all the rest was some fatty gelatinous strips. I understand this might be the "mixed" part but I'm certain no one would pay for 3/4kg of that. Pretty dissapointing. I would recommend when calling to order that you tell.them you want only "meat". The meat was absolutely amazing though.

When you go to Carnitas El Rolys you can expect to find traditional and truly tasty food for a reasonable price, with a friendly and fast service. If you are not sure what to get I will highly recommend you to try “carnitas surtidas” which are perfect for one person or for sharing with friends.

Ordered the carnitas tacos and the baguette off UberEats. The portion of carnitas that come with each dish is MASSIVE! There is at least 250g of carnitas per dish. The carnitas was very juicy and have bits of pork fat imbedded for extra juiciest and flavour. My only wish was the carnitas was pan fried a bit to add some crispness.

Best carnitas ever! Seriously the best - we’ve brought them to parties and everyone is a fan! Delicious and juicy meat and the sauces are excellent as well. Also just tried the chilaquilles today and they were incredible as well.Food: 5/5

The best And authentic carnitas I have tried in Vancouver. This is the real And traditional flavor of Michoacan. It took me more than one hour to get there, it totally worth it. Thanks Carnitas El Rolys¡!

Have been buying carnitas there for months. Very delicious. However, there has been a few incidents that will make me stop supporting this business. Placed an order for 1kg of carnitas specifically asked for lean meat and bread in the morning to be delivered later in the day. Received a box of left overs with 375g of skin and the rest was fatty meat. No bread. When this was brought to the owner’s attention, he told me that the delivery was later in the day and I should be happy they were able to at least give me something. To which I told him that the order was placed in the morning. Then, the owner apologized but still asked me to pay the full price. Sent the etransfer. Won’t order anymore.
