Very disappointing experience at Staples. It was my first time using their self-service printing machines, and I clearly told the staff that I didn’t know how to use them properly. Somehow I ended up printing the wrong paper size, and the documents were important for my job application.nnInstead of helping properly, the staff kept sending me from one person to another. The lady I spoke to was rude and basically told me to do everything myself because they were closing. I understand stores have closing times, but basic customer service and guidance for first-time customers should still exist.nnIf someone is already stressed about important documents, the least staff can do is speak politely and help for a minute instead of making customers feel like a burden.
STABLES don’t have a STABLE,nThe funniest thing about my visit to Staples was finding out they had no staplers in stock. A stationery store without staplers is like a gas station without gas.nnTo make the experience even more memorable, on June 11, 2025, time 12:00 PM, I asked staff for assistance and was met with little interest in helping. Between a stationery store & Casher desk, without staplers and customer service without service, it was quite an unforgettable visit.Lol
If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for all your stationery needs, this Staples store is an excellent choice. They offer an impressive variety of items, from notebooks and planners to craft supplies and office essentials. The shelves are well-stocked, and the layout makes it easy to find what you need.nnHowever, their photo printing service is a complete letdown. I visited hoping for a seamless experience, but it was just not that. The process was disorganized, the staff did tried but did not really helped, and half of the machines were malfunctioning.nnWhile this store excels in many areas, they need serious improvements in their photo printing service. If you’re here for stationery, you won’t be disappointed—but if you need photo prints other than the self-serve machines then you should save yourself some frustration and explore other options.
I visited this Staples location today fully intending to make a purchase. Not just a $400 office chair but several other items as well. After this experience, I absolutely will not be spending a single dollar at this location.nnThe office chairs were displayed in a large case built against the wall that extended all the way up to the ceiling. The specific chair I was interested in was placed at the very top. When I asked if there was a floor model or ANYTHING on the ground that I could try I was told no. One employee at least attempted to help and see if the chair could be brought down. However, the manager flat-out refused. She repeatedly emphasized that only one employee is capable of bringing the chair down using the machinery and that this person was not working. You’re telling me a Staples location has one employee that’s trained to bring down merchandise? That was it. No solution. No effort.nnWhen we asked how customers are supposed to determine whether a chair is comfortable, the right size, or even suitable at all, we were met with un-helpfulness. The manager made 0 attempt to help us find an alternative chair on the floor, whether similar in brand, material, or design. We had to ask those questions and try to get them to assist us. That is not customer service it’s laziness especially coming from a manager.nnDisplaying chairs near the ceiling and expecting customers to purchase them without testing them is absurd. It’s like walking into a car dealership and being told to buy a car just by staring at it. No test drive and no touching. It makes no sense. But don’t worry the manager reminded us of the 30-day return policy. They expect you to purchase it, go home and assemble it, try it for 5 minutes then go and return it rather than simply having a floor model.nnThe manager, who I believe was named Guyane short woman with glasses, was rude, dismissive, and shockingly unhelpful. The customer service was truly awful, unacceptable, and frankly embarrassing for a major retailer like Staples. It appears that this is not the first poor encounter with this store manager as per the reviews.nnI came in ready to spend money on multiple items. Instead, I walked out because of how poorly this situation was handled. I will absolutely not be returning. You’re better off going to Bestbuy to purchase any electronics, furniture, office supplies etc.
It’s a good location with a more limited inventory.
