Leaside Longo's is a unique store! From the first moment you step into the store you feel like you are in a store that is a cut above all other grocery stores in the area. You do not even have to shop to be amazed. Just take some time to take in the beauty of all the displays around the store, and that by itself will draw a wide smile on your face.nnWhen it comes to product quality, Leaside is second to none. Bakery has the freshest breads, the best sourdough in town, and in-store made cakes that rival the best cake houses in the area. Their cake decorators will attentively take your special cake orders and execute with impressive accuracy. Many of my friends choose Longo's Leaside Bakery as their go to location for Birthday cakes and all of their important events.nnTheir Meats are also extraordinary! Longo's Leaside Meat Department has the highest quality of beef in the area. Their butchers are super-experienced. Do yourself a favor, and please have them cut some steaks for you. You will not be disappointed! Their Deli meats and cheeses are also exceptional. It is hard to find another store in town that has such an amazing variety of high quality Italian Cheeses.nnProduce also is a major draw for shopping there. They leave all other grocery stores in the dust when it comes to the quality and freshness of their offerings. As a plus, a lot of their produce is Canadian with a healthy amount of Ontario grown products too.nnIf you are a busy professional, well, Leaside Longo's has you covered too. Their Kitchen Department, hands down, has the tastiest meals in all of town! The food options will impress you too! Whether you are looking at having a freshly cooked BBQ chicken, beef roasts, or hot soups that hit the spot, they've got it all. To make your dining experience even better, they have a very clean, spacious, and inviting seating area, designed especially for their customers to enjoy their meals -and yes, free Wi-Fi is available too-.nnWhen it comes to the customer experience side of things, frankly, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place than Longo's Leaside. The staff are genuinely happy at this location. It is very obvious that they love what they do. They will always go above and beyond to make your shopping experience memorable. The cashiers are so kind and accommodating. They always bag all my product for me without me even asking. They always ask me how my day is going and genuinely care for me. They make you feel like family. It's truly amazing!nnHonestly, if you live in this area, please, stop by Longo's Leaside as soon as you can, and I'm sure it will instantly become your home store.

I mostly come here for the vibe—the converted heritage building makes it way more pleasant than a typical grocery run. I was actually pleasantly surprised by their hot counter recently; the stone-oven pizza is legitimately better than most takeout spots nearby.nThat said, you definitely pay for the atmosphere. The prices on regular pantry staples can be a bit steep, so I usually stick to the bakery the cannolis are dangerous and fresh meals. Just double-check your produce before you bag it; I’ve noticed the quality varies a bit lately.

I have visited this Longo's location on multiple occasions and, unfortunately, every single time I have witnessed something very disturbing: a rat infestation.nnThis is not an exaggeration. On every visit, I have seen at least 3 rats, both large and small. I have seen them scurrying around the refrigerator sections and sneaking through the bakery area, which is extremely disgusting and concerning for a store that handles food.nnThe store looks clean and orderly at first glance. However, this is clearly an ongoing and severe problem.nnIt is urgent that the relevant health authorities conduct a thorough and deep inspection of this location. Customer safety is at risk. I will not be shopping here again until serious measures are taken to address this.

One of the best grocery stores in the east /midtown area. A bit hard to access by foot unless you live nearby, but easy drive to get there and worth the drive. Their produce is top notch, in-house made products are excellent, service is great, and the food at their sandwich/pizza counter is really delicious.

Hi and Good Day to the Staff, Management and Customers: I shopped here on Saturday and, had a great experience with a clean store, polite employees and, a smart manager. The store never changes as it continues with a great reputation for it's selection of fruit, vegetables and other food fare for the customer. I really can appreciate the hard work done by the cashiers and, self-checkout people as well as the Evan at the Service Desk who was kind enough to take my order. He was great throughout by taking his time and, making sure that he had my order correct and, the lady at self-checkout as all were very polite. One positive amongst the many is that Longos takes pride in its' store appearance and, how it runs it's stores and, treats its staff-this is how a store and, food chain needs to be run and, it all starts with a great boss. Keep up the great work Team and Angela!!.
