"Established in 1855, the Six Mile Pub is the Oldest Pub in BC. This beautiful property is located on the bank of Millstream which flows into Esquimalt Harbour. Centrally located within the Westshore of Victoria, next to the Galloping Goose Regional Bicycle Trail and the arterial Island Highway, the Six Mile Pub has served generations of local Victorians. The large menu features made-from-scratch Pastas, Breads and Desserts. Ingredients are sourced responsibly and thoughtfully and include herbs and vegetables from her own Culinary Garden and Apiary as well as meats and vegetables from neighbouring farms. Because menu items are prepared on-site with whole ingredients, the Culinary team is able to adapt recipes to accommodate special diets."

Six Mile Pub is said to be British Columbia’s oldest pub Established 1855 . It was such a warm cozy place! You defiantly are walking into a different time and place when you step inside. Has a lot of character. Staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. Its a large space with lots of seating. Had a couple drinks and ordered there calamari and vegan Shepard pie! Both dishes were delicious and flavorful! To find a good selection of vegan/plant based items on the menu at a pub was a very pleasant surprise! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Victoria BC. Thanks so much for your amazing food and warm atmosphere!
Went here for a quick lunch. Had the fish and chips and shepherds pie. Everything was cooked well, and the shepherds pie was very flavorful. Like that they do a mix of beef and mutton. Service was great, and the atmosphere is relaxed. They had non-alcoholic beer on the menu, so that was a welcome treat to have with our meals. Thank you!
Food was delicious and great. Waiting for food was just a bit tiny long and was expecting bigger portion, but overall service was friendly. Waitress was always refilling our drinks and making sure we were good. On a Tuesday evening, it was not super busy and a calmer atmosphere.
The place looks great on the outside and in. The bar had stained glass trim around it. The draft beers to choose from were many. I noticed they had 1516 Lager on tap. I remembered drinking it in wonderful Pub in Endinburgh Scotland. We went there many times. So, I was so happy to be able to drink this beer again. The wife took a picture of me holding up a pint of this tasty beer. Now, it's my profile photo on Facebook. The seafood spaghetti was just what the doctor ordered. The mussels were large and sweet tasting. The corn soup had a different taste than we expected. We shared the soup and seafood spaghetti. It was enough for us. No dessert this time, but looking forward to trying one out the time we go there. Check it out!
Wonderful lunch on the lovely patio. The menu has changed for the better since we were last there years ago, and we were happy to see several delicious plant-based options. Delightful server Lindsay couldn’t do more for us. Kudos!
I truly loved the experience at Six Mile Pub + Eatery. The service was fantastic and the food was good. I ordered the shepherds pie and the only thing I was disappointed by was the mashed potatoes. They tasted instant and I was hoping for homemade.
Gorgeous pub. Smells amazing as soon as you walk in and such great service! Probably had the best cocktail ever: blueberry chiller mocktail spiked with vodka. Huge selection of craft beers, most of my partners favorites were featured specials! Highly recommend, and definitely coming back next time in Victoria!
Came here for dinner while visiting Victoria BC. Decent place with friendly staff. The shepherds pie was good. My double rye & coke was only $11 which was delicious. My partner and I played a few games of billiards after we were done eating.
Visited 6 Mile Pub yesterday, and at the end, I wasn't impressed. When I walked in, I noticed 2 waitresses for the whole place. No it wasn't busy, but they needed a busser at least after noticing the 1 waitress rushing around like she had too much to do. I was asked to grab a seat anywhere, and 2 min later I was asked for a drink. I sat there for 20 min watching other tables be served, asked for drinks, and their food. Meanwhile I was kind of forgotten about. I ordered fish & chips which I don't recommend. The batter was not cooked enough, aka soft in some parts. When I was asked for malt vinegar, out came a plate with a little plastic cup of malt vinegar, and packets of S&P. attached photo I would think this resturant would have the funds to have a glass jar for the vinegar trust me they're cheap as I see them ALL the time at 2nd hand stores, and at least s&p shakers for the table, as packets of s&p remind me of a truck stop or a gas station. Sorry but recommending this place probably won't happen.
Loved the atmosphere the history of the building as well. The service was 5 stars. The lobster bisque was so yummy tasted fresh and the beef dip was really nice. They cook the roast in house. The only thing is for the price it should of had like double the meat in the bread. Other than that they have darts, pull tabs and pool. We will go again.
