This place was a blast! The band knew all the old songs from the 60s and 70s. My friends loved the dance floor and the food was delicious. Drinks kept coming. Live music is something we missed when we moved from The States. It was great finding this neighborhood treasure!
Such a fun vibe! Had a great time. Music was awesome, they have live music all the time. Small little dance floor area if you wanna get down
Live band was great, Polished off the Nachos and even got a “hey how’s it going from the owner” A great place to feel like your family Highly recommend paying a visit to this bar!!!
Every Wednesday night they have a wings/kareoke night and it's a pretty wild and busy place, So if you enjoy a good time you've come to the right place. It was a pretty busy night when we went so the wings did take longer that we would have liked, but one of the staff noticed our frustration and gave us a free pitcher! Bonus! The wings are a good size and I have to recommend the Jamaican/blue wings there awesome!
Very upset to see that bands that play there have to beg for tips. Not only do they bring in their fans to make the bar money. They then have to ask those fans to fork out more. Disgusting. Won't be going back.
Friendly service and good music. 4 types of wings all lacking sauce. More than a table spoon of sauce per order would really help.
Great food & live music, location and atmosphere - dirty dive bar fantastic... However the server Randy was too distracted to serve us.... Literally said " there's so many other bars in the city " to go to !!?? Wanted to celebrate Canada day with friends....guess they don't need the money !!?? SUPER waste of time and energy folks. Good luck guys/gals in this economy when you shut down neighbors trying to connect. 2 years later...I am joyful to be welcomed back into the loft, to be with all who love music, food and good people. Conner is a true soul, Val and Sarah will astound you. I love supporting local, come anytime, it's worth your while. Change is the one constant in life. But shafts, dinosours & people not on phones will always rule!
The bands that play at The Loft are good but the venue is extremely small and the music is WAY WAY TOO LOUD. People with hearing aids are significantly hurt. Also the venue is very warm, so not a good place to be on a warm day. Food is absolutely the worse, so don’t go for the food; enjoy the music if you can take the risk of going deaf!
Great place to come and see some live music while having a beverage or two.
Had a great basic steak dinner, service was very friendly and quick, not too crowded and colourful locals and regulars. The band was a three piece grouo covering 70s and 80s rock that made for a fun night of dancing with my lady. Sorry I haven't been before now. Lots of artwork adorn the walls by local airbrush phenom Paul Archer.
