Aaa-Ron Aaron at the bar is delightful! He will remember your drink of choice and make great recommendations! He crafted delicious cocktails for us. The Potato Skins were very good and a fair portion. The ambiance was pub style with a Large Beautiful fireplace. It’s really nice to have a restaurant next door. The place has gone through some ups and downs in the past few years, but the most recent brewery seems to be doing very well. We miss Axe and Barrels, but the current one is quite good too. Kristina here is friendly, and offered to exchange a different dish when we told her the noodle how was too salty. Anyways, love coming here in the neighbourhood!!
We stopped here en route to Victoria on a Saturday at lunchtime. The staff were friendly and service was good. The place had a good, relaxed ambience. Lots of drinks options. Good pub food and decent portions.
Came in the other night for dinner and I was very impressed. Our server Brittany was very friendly and tentative which is hard to find now days. She was on the ball with the menu and provided some awesome Ideas. First was the Sea food chowder bowl. Omfg it was amazing honestly a must have for sure. Also second was the Buddha Bowl lets just say there was a party in my mouth and it was that good. Hands down you need to try these dishes well worth the price. Thank you Loghouse for such great food and friendly staff.
Beer selection was ok. 2/5 Service was not great. 1/5 Food was not great. 1/5 Chicken burger fell apart like I was trying to grip a salad with my hands. Super slimy. Sliders were sort of okay for the price. 9$. But didn't come with any veggies. It would cost less than 10 cents to stack some lettuce on there but nope. Order the side of fries and they were pretty dang soggy. they were also six God damn dollars. Probably going to hit pass on this next time.
Visited the Loghouse Pub on the weekend & it was a great experience. It was warm & cozy; the Christmas decor was lovely. The staff was friendly & the food was delicious best gluten free bun I've had. Will definitely go back soon! Thanks everyone!
I was reluctant to submit this review as I tend to not make a fuss, but since we live in the neighbourhood, and we like to come in for lunch or dinner, I feel I need to do this. In the past we have really enjoyed both the food and atmosphere, unfortunately the last two times we have been in were a huge disappointment. It seems like anything that is deep fried, for example the calamari, fries, chicken burgers, etc - taste like the oil they are using is old, because everything we have ordered has been very greasy and overcooked, to the point of being burnt, and leaves an almost rancid aftertaste in the mouth from the oil. On our recent visit this past Friday, my husband ordered the chicken burger with cheese and bacon, he could not even bite the chicken, so we sent it back - it was so overcooked, and hard as a rock, the cheese and bacon on the top were like leather and burnt as well. I had the beef taco bowl, the shell was over cooked as well and very greasy, there was very little “dressing” on it, it was also pretty dry- in fact, I was not able to eat it. The other two people in our group were also not happy, they had the falafel wrap, which they said was dry as well and the cod wrap which was “ok” hopefully the management can take a look at these issues, the cooking oil should be changed frequently enough that this doesn’t happen.
Called in to see if they had a table available on Dec 24th. The waitress said they did. Told them we will be there soon. Came over and the Table was ready to go. Everyone St our table enjoyed our tasty food.
We did a dbl date here. Had a blast during music bingo. Great service, attentive, sincere and on point. The drinks and food were amazing and I love coming here.
We both ordered prime rib. The yorkshire pudding was like bread, potatoes and gravy were cold. I sent mine back. The kitchen re-did the entire plate. It was hot when served. Flavour was lacking. It was a disappointment. However, our waitress was lovely. Thanks for the 5 star service.
