Darcy's Pub Westshore

Super excited about the vegan menu! They’ve got all the pub favourites! ****update**** we had the black bean burger and the nachos, both were delicious, the nachos were light on the vegan cheese but the chips were unreal! So good. They even split our burger and fries for us, so nice.

Best chicken burg I have had in a long while. Crispy, juicy, evenly balanced with the bacon, lettuce, soft chewy bun and tasty sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. Would absolutely go again! I was happy with their selection of local beer 10 options on tap and tried the Millstream Altbier. Nice and smooth, very balanced sour-bitter-sweet profile.

I ordered the fish and chips and there was triple the batter to fish. It just tasted like oil and the oil was pooling in the container. I had a whole containers worth of batter left over after I picked out the five or so bites of actual fish it contained. The other food was just ok but very salty. I don't think I will eat here again.

Tons of yummy vegan options! My favorite so far is the kale caesar salad. I got the fries too and they were delicious! I appreciated the clear labeling on my takeout order :

We like their Mac and cheese with chicken and a few orders before this one the bacon was raw not even cooked. I decided to try again but called first to talk to person before ordering..they said no problem will let kitchen know just add comment on order...which I did..got the order and there was still raw bacon mixed in BUT they must have thought it was funny to just put a big stack of bacon on top...mind you it was cooked properly but not the inside... the kicker of the whole deal was the person who imputed the order didn't look at it properly and the end result was no chicken on both orders...now that's 14 dollars worth..I think a gentle phone call to a manager today will help but not ordering from there anymore unless I eat inside and see the order first

Had the fire pizza...wow! I'm a spice lover...but this was even too spicy for me! Service was great!

This review is purely for the food aspect of the pub. It saddens me every time I think about how amazing the food was from Darcy's past year before they switched menus and possibly cooks? Not only did they remove all of their BEST items the chicken and waffles, buffalo potato skins, calamari, fried pickles, bbq rib sandwich...etc but the taste and quality has been so lack luster since. I used to order from Darcy's weekly and since the menu changed I've ordered maybe 2 times in the year. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD MENU!!!

This place was good, great ambience. The food was great as well except one issue we faced. We were at Darcys around 7 ordered our food and drinks. We wanted to order again because we were hungry around 8 they said the kitchen was closed around 7.30. Huge disappointment, atleast the service person should show a courtesy informing us prior to the kitchen closing time. Giving only 3 rating for the bad service.

Just like Darcys down town ! Good food and great staff !

It was ok. A bit dark but tvs we’re huge if you want to watch the game.
