Emerald Isle Motel

It's awful, nasty and you really don't want to be here. Sometimes when you're at a great hotel you get a feeling that you're in a movie. We've had it with this motel too. But in some kind of horror movie. This place as really disgusting. The room smelled like smoke. Not a bit. No, a lot! No running water, piss was still on the toilet, no electricity, carpet was sticky (and hell no, I don't want to know what made it sticky......), first I had to kill some bugs who were there, you could see the outside ground IN the room, bed felt nasty, the room was a mess, no wifi, eventho it said 'free wifi'. And that's okay. If you pay like $1,19 for a night. But you had to pay (I'm not kidding) $90,00!!!! It's absolutely disgusting. I only slept there because we were on our way to somewhere and I couldn't keep my eyes open. When we woke up at 3:30 in the night, we were sad that it wasn't 6:00, so we could leave. (We arrived at 00:30, so we did need some sleep before we could drive again).

I just called to get a price and to see if there was a room available. The man on the phone just kept telling a hundred ten dollar, a hundred ten dollar.... I was trying to ask a question about room sizes and I didn't even get to ask because he hung up the phone on me. I will NEVER go to this hotel and neither will any of my friends or family!! Learn how to talk to people on the phone!

Rooms are mediocre. Staff is nice. Price is a little high but experience was overall positive.

The website for Emerald Isle said they had vacancies but when we got there they had a sign saying nothing was available. Disappointing.
