We came from Ontario, so we've stayed in many hotels across the country, and this was one of the better ones. We were very impressed with the rooms, the cleanliness, and the large walk-in shower. We had a washer/dryer available to us on our floor, and the 24hr Denny's downstairs was an added bonus. All of this for a very reasonable price! I'd highly recommend this hotel.
I want to tell you about the excellent customer service we received from Dennis one of the Managers today when dealing with an unfortunate situation where we had to cancel a reservation with short notice. Dennis was just excellent to deal with. He understood our situation and he went above and beyond to ensure that our reservation was cancelled and that we would not be charged a cancellation penalty. This was a situation where we could not travel due to severe weather, and we would miss a family wedding. Feeling bad about this, Dennis made sure to convey that the roads were indeed terrible on his drive into work and that we were making a wise decision. This small thing made a difference, and we would like to ensure that Dennis is commended for a job well done.
I drove up from Edmonton and stayed there for one night, when i arrived at the hotel i was greeted with the most amazing customer service. It has been a long time since i have experienced such friendly and cheerful conversations when entering a hotel and i would definitely return based on this experience alone. Julie and Melissa were both highly professional, helpful, informative and a great example that true customer service still exists. Thank you JULIE and MELISSA for making my experience memorable and i look forward to returning in the future.
One of the most COMFORTABLE hotel beds we've slept in. Very nice.nCheck in, was quick and friendly.nnRoom was a great size separate sitting area and bedroom. In room coffee, microwave, small fridge, toaster, untensils. Handy if you're staying a few days and you can have a light breakfast. Another option is the attached to the hotel Dennys.nBath was good. The only exception was one towel was discolored quite grey and should have been relegated to the cleaning towel pile.
We had no more heaters at home so we decided to go to a hotel in our area for the night. The hotel is open 24/7 so it was really convenient for us. We had the pleasure of staying at the Sandman Hotel in Bowness, and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was really comfortable and convenient. The lady at the reception was really kind
