We myself, husband and dog just finished an exceptional 4 night stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious, they were very pet friendly, the location was great with everything you could possibly need within a 2 minute drive but best of all, the staff and service was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Stephanie was fabulous at check in and helped accommodate us after an error we made when booking. Melanie was great throughout the weekend with helping with any questions or extras we needed and then informed us of the special medical rates that they offered as we were unaware and were staying due to medical specialist appointments. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and we look forward to our next stay! Thank you ladies for making the weekend great.
One has a hard time sharing a hidden nThis hotel is everything you could want in a hotel. From the location to the double door bathrooms in our last room it really has everything you need and more. From the time you check into the hotel to check out the service is impeccable, Stephanie at your front desk I cannot begin to say enough about her, our last 3-4 stays at this location she has been there, she is a consistent in her approach with her guests, she has a way to make you feel like you are at home. She goes above & beyond where she can, she has a great sense of humor, she has made each & everyone of our stays there amazing. She definitely should be recognized as a top promoter of your business, it all begins with the start of your stay & she is amazing in her role. Not to say all others in the hotel are great as well. We appreciate that there are great restaurants at the hotel & that there's amazing service at Moxies & at Denny's as well.
The sandman is good if u need a quick place to stay. The moxies restaurant is terrible, the service is painfully slow and the food over priced. We actually got up an left and went to the nearby Boston Pizza. The hotel staff was great! But it was disappointing that the jets in the hot tub didn't work, the heater in the room was broken, and the roof in the suite we had, looked like it had a pocket of water waiting to clasp in on us . The bed was comfy but the pillows were small. All in all, next time I think I would rather have gone with our preferred Hotel chain Holiday Inn an Suites. We were there for a romantic night away for my birthday, a surprise from my husband. There was lots of guys checking in for a quick stop for work an they seemed ok with it. But would definitely avoid that moxies. The staff is rude and slow.
All of the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Harinder who went above and beyond and helped our hockey team with a storage room for all of the equipment. Made the stay so much nicer! The staff was also very patient with our annoying hockey kids! Rooms were clean and nice having Moxie's and Denny's in the hotel
I really don’t want to leave a bad review as I’m so looking forward to our family trip in Calgary and I like this hotel as it has a great location, but they do have a super Unprofessional front desk / customer service …. : no replies to my request for several weeks and when I tried to call them they have ZERO apologies… the hotel management team should really train their customer service front desk staff to have a professional service on the phone….
