Absolutely Exceptional Stay!nnFrom the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view. Every detail from the luxurious linens to the complimentary amenities reflected the hotel's high standards.nnThe location was ideal, close to everything I needed, yet quiet enough for a restful night's sleep. I also have to highlight the breakfast: fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options for all tastes.nnI couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional service!

Dismissing it as false is clearly an attempt to protect your image.nnIf we weren’t registered guests, why were we contacted and asked to return? Why was the issue even addressed if your staff wasn’t at fault?nnWe have video proof supporting our experience and will be sharing it publicly. It’s unfortunate the manager took no responsibility at the time. We stand by our review.nnRemy Should NOT Be in Customer ServicenWe had one of the worst experiences we’ve ever faced with a front desk employee named Remy. Our group—six adults and fifteen kids—arrived at the hotel around 11 PM, tired and simply looking for a place to stay. Instead of being treated with respect, we were met with rudeness, aggression, and racism.nRemy started yelling at us out of nowhere. None of us were rude. No one raised their voice. No one swore. We were calm and respectful, just trying to ask questions—but he mocked us, acted irritated, and treated us like we didn’t matter.nHe wasn’t even wearing a name tag, and when we asked for his name, he refused to give it. At that point, we genuinely weren’t even sure if he worked there—how were we supposed to know? He had no ID, no visible badge, and gave us no reason to trust him.nHe then kicked us out for no reason, leaving our group—including exhausted children—stranded late at night. It wasn’t until we started recording him that he suddenly tried to act polite, but the damage was already done.nRemy has no manners, no compassion, and no place in customer service. If this is how he treats guests, he should not be working in hospitality—period.nHere is a picture of how he looks attached. Let this serve as a warning to others.nPS: For anyone wondering how we got his name—we had to contact hotel management ourselves because he refused to identify himself at the time.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were warm and welcoming, greeting me right away and ensuring a smooth check-in. My room was spotless, comfortable, and inviting and a nice way to end the day after travelling. The breakfast was a pleasant way to start the day, with a nice variety to choose from. Overall, a great experience that I would happily come again.

We stayed at this location only for one night. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the appearance of the hotel was pleasant.nnMy main reason for writing this review, however, is to offer kudos for the staff members we have worked with. We were picked up by the shuttle driver, Sultan, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, pointing out not only the amenities of the hotel, but also offering suggestions for dinner nearby. His cheerful attitude started us off on the right foot.nnNext, we were greeted by Agna at the front desk. Again, like Sultan, she was very friendly and helpful, making sure that our stay would be a good one.nnThe staff at hospitality locations can make all the difference. It would appear that the management of this particular Holiday Inn and Suites has empowered their staff to do whatever is necessary to make guests feel like, well, guests. Excellent work, Holiday Inn and Suites Calgary Airport.

Absolutely unacceptable experience.nnWe arrived after a long drive with 15 kids and 6 adults, hoping for a smooth and welcoming check-in — instead, we were met with ignorance, rudeness, and what felt like clear racial discrimination.nnWe asked if we could be on the same floor as the rest of our group and were immediately treated like we didn’t belong. A staff member named Remy was especially rude and dismissive — not helpful in the slightest. Rather than assist us, he seemed more interested in creating problems.nnWhen we tried to escalate the issue, we spoke with the manager, Elizabeth, who was just as unhelpful. Instead of listening, showing understanding, or apologizing for how we were treated, she defended her staff — even though they were clearly in the wrong.nnTo make matters worse, they kicked our entire group out of the hotel at 11 PM — including all the children. No compassion, no support, no effort to make things right. It was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional.nnHospitality is supposed to mean being welcoming and helpful — especially to families arriving late at night. Sadly, this hotel showed the complete opposite. We will never return, and we don’t recommend anyone else does either.
