River Rock Casino Resort

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond! The casino floor itself is incredibly lively, fun, and packed with energy—making it the perfect place for an exciting night out with friends.nHowever, the best part of the resort is that once you’re ready to wind down, the rooms are wonderfully peaceful, quiet, and soundproofed. You get the best of both worlds: a high-energy entertainment hub downstairs and a completely tranquil oasis upstairs.nThe amenities are also top-notch. We spent some great, relaxing time at the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. When we got hungry, the food court/casual dining options were great, offering plenty of quick, delicious, and convenient choices right on site. I will definitely be back!

Location was perfect for us, close to the train to airport, bus from the ferry and anywhere else we needed to go. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite, the room was spacious and clean but dated and everything had lots of visible wear. Tv did not have Netflix or anything which was a bit disappointing. Mattress was terrible, and the blanket for the pull out couch was very rough. the pillows and linens on the king bed were nice though.The pool and hot tub looked nice and my kid was very excited about the water slide, only to find out there was a height minimum that she didn’t reach. The pool water was absolutely freezing cold!!! And there were no towels or staff available when we used the facilities so we ended up walking back to our hotel room without drying off. We used the hot tub which was a nice temperature but very overcrowded with kids playing in it due to the temperature of the pool. The fitness center was decent but did not open early enough for my husband who is an early riser, he had to wait for it to be open in the mornings which wasn’t ideal. Meal options were also disappointing when travelling with kids as food options were mainly located inside the casino floor with no minors allowed. Staff were all friendly and the hotel overall was clean. Starbucks on site was a great addition as I woke up to coffee every morning when my husband got back from the gym. Overall we would stay again as the location can’t be beat for what we needed but i will have more realistic expectations. I wouldn’t consider it to be a 4 star hotel though, maybe 2 or 3

A great location if flying out of YVR. The kids loved the waterslide but was a bit awkward to get to when staying across the road when they don't give you house coats or slippers.nnOur room seemed to have dried candle wax I hope.. on the bathroom wall and unfortunately the clock's alarm in the room went off an hour before we intended to wake up we did not set this! on the morning of an all day international flight so that sucked.

Had an excellent time 2nd year in a row I have stayed at the RiverRock for my WCTA conference. Taisaiin checked me in and made sure my room had a soaker tub. My flight was diverted along the way and I spent 9 hours on a plane. The service of all the hotel employees was excellent. I really enjoyed the fitness area and the pool and the hot tub.

Very enjoyable resort, situated in a good spot that is easily transitable to other parts of Vancouver or a walk away from many shops in Richmond/outlet. Situated right by the water and close to the airport. Rooms are clean and service is friendly. Casino is a good size for all games. There's also two restaurants and a Starbucks. Lots of entertainment on site. The conference center is located outside no inner walkway. Appreciated the indigenous branded amenities as well.
