This hotel is bad! The outside has you questioning your choices from the get-go. Yes, it was cheap. Would I stay again to save $100... NO! Rooms have an odor. The beds are not comfortable. The AC is older than me. The window was broken. Various holes in the ceiling patched in questionable ways. Various cuts and stains in the wallpaper. The toilet makes an awful sound after each use, like a balloon deflating. There is nowhere to plug in a phone charger near the bed. No water bottles are included in the room, but they do sell it for $5 a bottle. Haha. Then they throw the kicker that parking is not included, but they do include a breakfast. How nice! This was never mentioned at booking.... Yikes! Lastly, they knock on your door at 8 am. to make sure your already crappy sleep if further interrupted. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.
Just had the worst hotel stay I have ever at this location. Not that any of this should have been shocking as upon arrival the outside of the hotel looks like the the Hollywood Tower of Terror, and the interior reflected this as well, but there were no thrills to be had here, just chills. For starters when I got into my hotel room, the room wreaked of putrid cat urine, masked by a gallon of what can I only imagine must have been discount perfume the hotel bought from Wish. I went to the window to get some air but the window was broken and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a decade. The next surprise was the fact that the towels and sheets, which may have been white at one point in time, were all stained and tinted a lovely yellow or beige or even brown from who knows what. Honestly, if you took a black light into the room it would probably have lit up like a Christmas Tree. Which actually may have been helpful considering the lights flickered so badly and in my bathroom only worked half the time. That was far from the worst part of the bathroom though. My shower was the next fun part where not only did it have black mold growing, but the drain didn't work properly and every shower turned into a bath. But unlike Hannah Montana I don't think that's the best of both worlds we should be going for. Also for a hotel with 11 floors to only have one working elevator, you had to leave 1 to 2 business days in advance in order to get to your room or leave the hotel because the wait time was that long. The only glimmer of hope was that the staff were able to do the very basics of their jobs. For the most part anyway, as on more than one occasion I had to get my room key reset. It was nothing short of abhorrent and I would never recommend anyone stay there. I would hate for anyone to have to experience this, utterly appalling and shameful for them to even pretend to consider themselves a 3 star hotel.
The hotel staff is genuinely exceptional, and I genuinely appreciate their dedication and customer service. However, the hotel’s age is a significant concern. It is possible that individuals may experience feelings of depression while residing in such an environment. The hotel lacks proper cleaning, and there is an abundance of old furniture throughout. Furthermore, I encountered a cockroach emerging from my shower. I strongly advise against booking this hotel.
We looked at the poor review so we made sure to have a good room at the reservation and room was just fine.nFront desk staff was very very friendly and helpful. All request like take garbage away, quick vacuum, some necessities etc was fulfilled within minutes.nWe used a meeting room and it was great.nnRoom stay was big for one person and a good view. Grocery store, dollar store and some restaurants in walking distance. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room were helpful. Room cleaning didn’t come as I requested at the check-in but when I ask as I need, they came. Good stay despite an old hotel.
The good, The staff were friendly and the location was idealnThe bad, I had a dirty towel. The pillows were not great. The doors are sooo loud when they close it's hard to sleep. Everything is a little old and outdated. They had no conditioner which is part of why I like the travelodge their shampoo and conditioner is great this place decided it wasnt necessary to provide guests with any. We didn't have time to use the amenities so I can't comment on those.nThe worst, there are some very unsavory guests at this hotel and it was a little uncomfortable with our boys. When I booked through a group booking I got a confirmation letter detailing what charges I would incur and when. 196.04 for a deposit on April 18th. They attempted to charge my credit card the full amount of the room 3 days before the cutoff to cancel. I denied the chargewhich I was alerted to and called the hotel and they tried to fluff it off as their policy and couldn't say why their charges differed from the confirmation letter I got. I found it very concerning to try to charge me without notification and before my cancelation deadline. We won't stay here again.
