A couple of things make this hotel very special. The courtyard is an actual oasis, the pool is the perfect temp and offers sun or shade loungers, the restaurant and bar are large and airy and the food is just fantastic. The people are what really sets it apart. Marvin and Heather were absolutely first class...they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed from fishing licenses to a freezer for 150lbs of fish to ensuring our teenage daughter could check in without us there. Then the concierge Hendrix made us feel right at home by taking care of our gear and treating us like family. I will absolutely stay here again. On a side note, the lobby is spectacular.
This is a great hotel, the location was convenient, my room was very spacious and the pool was quite charming. The service however set it apart and made my stay excellent. The Manager or General Manager I spoke to upon arrival was very gracious and reasonable with a request I had, and one of the gentlemen servers in the restaurant really went above and beyond to provide me great service. I was quite impressed and really enjoyed my stay. Well done!
Stayed here for a conference, won’t choose this hotel again. I’m unsure if different towers are different ages but I originally had a room on the main floor across the courtyard facing the parking lot. No microwave. Requested a different room as the large door backed right into the back parking lot and felt unsafe. Moved to west tower, room had a kettle and microwave but a really loud rumbling a/c unit right outside. Room was reasonably clean but quite rundown and mold showing up in the bathroom, peeling paint, odd smell. Definitely not “Sheraton” quality. Common areas are pumped full of “Sheraton” fragrance, hard to believe we are still doing this in 2025. Staff were nice
We had to stay here recently for 2 nights for personal reasons even though I live in the lower mainland. Room we stayed in was spacious. We were upgraded to the M lounge / concierge floor. View was gorgeous. We requested late check-out and were allowed to check out as late as 2pm, which was super appreciated. Hotel also offers 24-hour shuttle service to and from YVR, which is a plus. Location is excellent. There's also a microwave inside our room. I would recommend this hotel to any visitors or travelers transiting through YVR or just visiting Vancouver.
We stayed in the South Tower. Room was very spacious and clean. Shower had excellent water pressure. Lots of parking available all around.nnOnly downside was that the balcony door and hallway door were paper thin. Almost thought the doors were left open.
