Red Roof Inn Syracuse

Normally Red Roof is a good place to stay. But they have removed refrigerator and microwave. Don't get that at all. The rooms here smell like cigarettes even the non smoking ones. I said something to the guy at the front desk and he said well not everyone follows the rules. Ok so you charge them the $200 fee and clean the room of smells. Also the heat system here is very poor and takes a long time for the room to warm up if it does at all. Plus they have no breakfast like the other discount places. Lady at checkout in morning is not very friendly. I would choose the Knights Inn over red roof, much better place, nice heat and offer a breakfast in the morning for the same price. about 1 mile apart

It's a nice hotel, pets are welcome here. But they are short staff at the front desk and room service on the weekend. You would think red roof inn would have more people working especially the price is high on weekends.

Very nice! Animal friendly. Comfy beds. There was a shirt left in the bathroom that did not belong to us. Otherwise enjoyable. One room had very loud dogs that kept us up. Don't know how close it was to us.

Room was gorgeous. Hardwood floors, flat screen TV, King size bed. Room was very cozy. Staff was great with knowing what's around and their restaurant recommendations for nice local places where awesome.

The room was too HOT and the heat was not on, AC would not run (and it's March), toilet wouldn't flush, they didn't clean, no room amenities, grounds outside covered in feces and it seemed like there were some shady people that took permanent residence. Coffee was good and I'm glad I only paid $50/night vs. $90 others were paying. I will never stay there again.
