Originally opened in 1924 as the Hotel Syracuse, our beautiful downtown Marriott hotel has preserved the grandeur and opulence of this famed hotel and added a modern twist. Very nice hotel. The room was comfortable and a good size. I like that there are three bar options also plenty of food options. Is right in the center of downtown lots to do! All in all a good experience. Even though we live in Syracuse we stayed here for a friend's birthday and had a wonderful time!

A stunning hotel. The building is historical but has been updated and improved to provide first class facilities but with character and elegance. The staff are very helpful and there are several excellent dining choices right on the premises. The location is very convenient in the downtown area and just a few minutes walk from major museums and the Armory Square area.

Stayed overnight prior to next day flight. Rooms were immaculate clean and the historic nature of the hotel adds beauty, however rooms have been updated to a modern look and feel. My particular room had at least a 9 foot full comfortable couch to sit on. Quiet for the most part, however the original coffin style doors to allow noise from the hallway. No complaints and will stay again. Recommended.

Exquisite restoration of a grand hotel. Comfortable bed and comfort food for room service ( Chef Thomas's grilled cheese is scrumptious). Friendly, helpful staff. Great place for meetings, conferences, weekend escape, or wedding!

Very big and clean smelling hotel, the newly remodeled hotel Syracuse is very nice, there is a lot of vintage style in the hotel, but modern as well. Very fun place to stay, they have many events that take place there. Nice place to sleep with no noises at night.
