Parkview Hotel

Plain and simple. No amenities except the essentials. Just the perfect place for a few nights in Syracuse. Clean, old, comfortable, simple and just nice. There was no decaf coffee in the lobby but the guy behind the desk just thought nothing of making me some. And it was a good cup of coffee.

I thought the lady said early check in was 15 dollars not 50. Why would I pay 50 dollars to check in two hours early? Since you don't see what you pay until it shows up on your statement, I had no idea. When I asked if we could check in early she said yes, took my card and spoke so fast and casually like 50 dollars is 5 dollars. It was already expensive, so I ended up paying even more. I am not happy I was not clearly communicated I had to pay 50 usd more just to check in two hours early.nnRooms are super old and our fridge had left overs from the previous guest. Otherwise it was clean and silent. Location is good. Free parking.nnNo breakfast.

Beautiful little hotel. Room was spacious and well appointed, everything was stocked and fresh coffee in the lobby. The only slight and I mean SLIGHT inconvenience was the lack of restaurants within close walking distance, although there are quite a few 15 minutes walk away. Will definitely be staying here again.

The location is great.nThe rooms are old, basic. housekeeping needs to be more detailed while cleaning the rooms. Mt room had some soffe stain on yhe walls, ans found new clothes tags glue to the wall. Parking is ok free.nStaff is friendly.

Very nice hotel and loved that it was so old and historical. They definitely updated it. Comfy bed. Clean! No bugs! Only call out was the bathroom was tiny. And the hotel staff really cleans they were at it for hours but also they woke me up first day so that was a bummer. Second day they didn’t and I slept really well. Will be back!
