Came here dine in on Sunday May2022 They are busy as they still space out all their tables. So seating capacity is way less than before. Came here @ 2:15 pm and waited about 30 minutes before a table is available for 4 of us. Services is excellent from management to people serving us. Everyone are friendly that we come into contact with. Price went up as expected but it is fair. Restaurant is clean and their washroom installed touchless sensor for you to open the door. To be honest, food is above average but not the best.... However the overall experience for me will give them 5 Stars. Sometimes it is not just the food and it is the overall experience that counts. Give them a try if you are in the area!
We came here at 1:20pm for late brunch on a Saturday. The place was still quite busy, and we waited 20 minutes for a table. Their tables were fully seated when we sat down and past when we left. Food all tasted pretty good, however only 4/5 because the portions were small, making the dishes pricey. Careful of using their tea pot, because it’s impossible to pour without spilling the tea all over the table cloth/plates. The service was quick and friendly this time - added tea quickly, took away empty dishes quickly.
Went there for dinner on Monday night, not busy at all, so it might be a good time to come try it if you have never been here. The food was delicious and creative! I would definitely recommend the stuffed chicken wings, they stuffed it with sticky rice then panfried them - definitely my favourite! Please note that this place is a bit expensive though, but matched with nice decor and good food.
Came here at 2:30 on a weekday, there were many tables as it was the end of the dim sum hours. Every dish we ordered was well made and tasty and their congee can serve up to 6 people, but the potatoes in the pumpkin chestnut congee weren’t cooked through. Their har gow and siu mai are smaller compared to other popular dim sum spots but I personally don’t mind. Service was good and everything we ordered took a total of 15 minutes to come. Love the interior of the restaurant and the cutlery and takeout boxes they use. Always drove past here and never knew what this place was, their restaurant title on their sign is very small, and the exterior of the place does not make it look like a typical restaurant, but it adds to the aesthetic I guess.
Expensive Dim Sum!! The food is mediocre, but the interior design of the restaurant is very nice. The waitress/waiters were a bit on the slower side, but they were attentive. There’s nothing amazing or wowing about the Dim Sum and for the price of the dishes you would expect them to be better, but they’re not… It was a interesting experience, but honestly just save your money and go somewhere else. There are plenty of Dim Sum places that cost a fraction of the price of this place. IT’S NOT WORTH IT!!!
Good experience. Easy to find tables if you arrive early. Menu is a bit lean but average quality is OK. Standout items are the BBQ pork bun and the mango mocchi.
I came here to enjoy Lunar New Year and dragon dance every year. Here is the only place I could feel Lunar New Year atmosphere during this period. Here a bit pricy but good quality of food, atmosphere and interior design. We ordered a special fried rice which is not on the menu - it’s quite nice and tasty.
Sat near the entrance as the place was very busy. Don’t sit near the entrance as every time the door opens all the cold air hits you.. I didn’t like it that i had to wear my coat inside the restaurant. The food is good but service is slow. You have to ask them multiple times to some sauces. It looks like the place was renovated recently but did not do a good job with entrance.
Food and indoor ambience is decent but the service is very poor. Sent our order in at noon and each dim sum came one at a time so slowly that we'd finish the dish and be waiting 10 minutes for the next one...for nearly TWO HOURS. This is not how dim sum is supposed to be enjoyed, like some omakase dish-by-dish meal. When we asked the hosts and servers, they brushed us off with a lame excuse that dim sum takes time to steam. Needless to say how silly this excuse is. Be frank with the customer and tell them the situation so that we can make an informed decision about our own timing. We waited so long for the bill as well so we went inside to pay. Food wise, the dim sum is not bad but hello, you're in Markham. There are plenty of dim sum restaurants with better service and better food.
Delicious dinner and decor. Friendly service. Will have to come back for lunch and another dinner. Food was exceptionally well done. Simple dishes were well executed and beat expectations.
