This restaurant is located inside Pacific Mall, it is easy to find. The place is clean and the staff is very nice. We ordered lunch combo which comes with butterfly duck and steamed fish. The duck is so good, highly recommend! The combo also includes soup and dessert which is a good deal. I will come here to try different dishes next time.
Service was overall good. Once order was placed , food was out within 5-10 minutes. It was fast. Quality of the food for the location I would say is fair for the price. The sauces for the dishes were good, a little tad salty. Atmosphere here could use a bit of work. The front counter looks a bit dreadful, and there's a low hum to the area that gets to you.
The duck dish was really good that came with their special dipping sauce. Everything else was good but not exceptional. Overall a nice place to have Chinese dinner with your family.
Very happy to spent a hundred dollars with this restaurant’s take out, including unsalted eggplant, uncooked shrimp in the fried rice, the dried dried sweet and sour pork with the less-amount of peaking duck the most of are duck skins. The last thing: sour or bad tofu in the duck bones soup, then everyone of our family members who ate the tofu was went to washroom one by one :
Never go this restaurant again, very bad service and food quality. I ordered 1 pecking duck for over $60 , when I opened the box is only half size very small portion. After I try to call owner but they hesitate to answer my phone. They hang up my phone many times. Horrible owner,
My first time eating Peking duck. It was a nice experience eating different kind of Chinese food that I usually eat. My friends explained to me the ritual cutting the duck and how they do different dishes with the meal. All the food and service were correct. The only thing that I did not like were the desserts; I don't like sweets. One advice for the restaurant manager, please when you serve oranges, give good one because all the amazing previous food was less impressive because of the poor oranges you gave us.
Just had lunch here... Food was absolutely terrible. We ordered a steam bun but the bottom was all hard like it was over heated in the microwave.. everything else tasted like reheated leftovers.. ordered a sweet and sour pork and it was lukewarm and had a nasty fridge smell/ taste...
Best place in town for Peking Duck + Hot & Sour soup. Fresh, Filling, Crunchy, Reasonable price, Delicious food. Professional courteous staff service. The soup was so good we finished it before we were able to get a picture of it. Deliciously crispy duck hand cut right in front of you.
It was a great restaurant. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have my name in the reservation but luckily there were some empty tables. I was surprised that they had a menu in Korean. It helped me a lot. I hoped that the servers understood English better as they couldn't explain well about their set menu only in Chinese. Overall, I was very satisfied that their Peking duck had just the same taste I had in China. Other dishes were also very good.
Reminds me of a place where it used to have its glory days, but those are slowly fading away. This place still has the renovations probably originating from the 80's/90's and hasn't changed since. The food is nostalgic and more "white" influenced than authentic Asian, but they do try to cater to both clientele's. Definitely need to order the Peking duck, it's pretty good but the best part is they give you 4x baskets of skins totalling around 20x pcs, which is far more than 90% of restaurants, but considering the duck alone is $45 you're kinda paying for it. I give them 6.5/10!
