ell known for their "crossing bridge" noodles there's a long interesting back story on the name of these noodles, look it up If you're looking for a scalding hot bowl of noodles on a cold wintery day, this should be your paradise. I ordered the tomato soup base and by far it was the most flavorful tomato soup base I've ever had. The iron bowls used for the soup keep the the soup scalding hot the entire duration of the wonderful eating experience. You add the ingredients at your pace and to your liking. A great experience different from the normal hot pot meal.

yummy noodle, not too expensive, fresh and very hot, excellent for winter. on the salty side, be aware.

We went there 2 weeks ago. I asked the waitress to give my 3 years old daughter a cup to drink water, she said she can’t give one as the cups are sterilized by bleach that the kids can’t use them???! Does it mean adults can use that?! You can provide children dishes, but the waitress said using bleach? I understand that kids might need higher level of hygiene, but does it mean that the cups you provided is too dangerous to be used for kids?

I thought they closed down already. Walked in , was served cold tea. Wanted to go wash my hands in the washroom. Single washroom for men, waited 5 patient minutes, heard the flush and door immediately opened. The chef comes out with his hands completely dry. Walked outta there and never came back

We saw this new place last week and decided to try it out this week. This place did not disappoint. All soup base contain no MSG which is such a bonus. Soup tastes great!!!

Traditional Chinese rice noodle, the soup is tasty! Worth to try! There are many styles of Chinese rice noodle, this is the Yunnan style! If you want to try this style, this is the place you want to go!

Decided to drop by here late night to check it out after reading the hype about it all over BlogTO. Situated right beside a busy Chatime, Dagu Rice Noodle has a brightly lit sign sure to grab anyone's attention. As soon as I walked in, we were greeted and sat down by more-than-pleasant servers. If there's one thing I gotta say, the service here was absolutely outstanding. We even got complimentary roasted peanuts along with a childhood story by the waiter! On to the food though, I ordered the spicy flavoured Crossing the bridge noodle soup while my friend got the Rice noodle soup with braised bone-in beef. Mine was a DIY sort of deal where all my meat and noodles and toppings came seperately and I had to throw it into the piping hot broth. I three everything in because I wanted to get the full taste and I gotta say, that broth had a good kick to it! Very flavorful while keeping a good amount of spice, all the different ingredients blended well in the soup. The only downside is my broth got a bit too peppery/sour at the end but I think that came from one of the toppings I threw in. Gotta remember not to put that next time. My friends soup I actually liked better than mine. There were two huge beef bones thrown into the soup and the soup already had all the ingredients in it already when it arrived. The bones definetely gave the broth a further dimension of flavor and it tastes amazing all the way through. I added a bit of chili oil to spice it up, but the braised beef on the bone was so tender it fell off the bone. They do give you gloves to pick up the bone and bite into it but the meat was so tender this wasn't even necessary! Quantity was a good amount and we were both stuffed after we were done BONUS: they give unlimited noodles for your broth if you like. Overall, a great experience and would definetely come back to try the other noodles out! Customer service gets a 5/5!

The portion of some of the ingredients are much. But overall will be enough to fed u... Price wise, reasonable. I finished left nothing behind. Didn't get a chance to try out the side dishes.

I went there at a rainy night. All the add–on looked not fresh at all. I promised the crab stick is getting sour, but the server just insist that they cut the crab stick by the same day. I went to Dagu Rice noodles for many years and it was very nice. I will never visit the Scarborough location again.
