Today, have a quick lunch at this restaurant. They said they are selling typical Taiwan style fish broth noodle. First time tried this in Toronto. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The fish broth is very yummy and the whole bowl of noodle and food tasted good . Price is reasonable. There is room for improvement on the food presentation . I think he appearance of the bowl of noodle should look much better if the chef can spend 1 more minute on it.
We came here around 12:30 in the afternoon. It was fairly busy, and we had to wait about 10 minutes before getting seated. After we ordered we had to wait 20 minutes to recieve the food and the milk tea came about 5 minutes after we started eating the noodles. If you have ever gone to one of these types of style places like deer garden, you would know the service is usually much faster. The food was not as good as deer garden and they give you less meat. In the rice soup they forgot to add in the beef brisket. The noodkes in the peanut chilli were mixed 2 styles inside see picture for reference, it should have been ramem only. It was all very sloppy. I would not recommend this place. Just go to deer garden instead.
What an lovely noodle shop, the food was very delicious and the establishment was VERY clean! I ordered the Szechuan Spicy broth, rice noodle x 2 extra 2.00, shrimp wonton, and sliced cuttlefish fish. I selected the Mango Pudding as my dessert. Normally I take half of my meal home, but the broth and toppings were so yummy I ate it all in one sitting. yum yum. Our waitstaff was very kind and sweet! This place totally has a mom&pop shop kinda vibe. This seems to be a local spot for folks coming to get groceries and supplies at the mall. It's a cute mall with some import clothing stores, it has s One's, huge Asian grocery store, Dollerama, Shopper's Drug Mart & a small food court. It took me 48mins to drive here, it was worth it. I live downtown and yeah there are lots of places to eat but something about coming to Markham, it just feels and tastes better ehen I'm North of the 401! Hehehe
Very good. We had the spicy peanut soup with Korean glass noodles and the ginkgo white pepper fish soup broths and they were both amazing! We would definitely come again next time we need a noodle fix! Comes with a drink or you can get ice cream or pudding. Staff was friendly.
Be Careful! This Restaurant try to STEAL money from customers! I recently visited them and unfortunately had a terrible experience. I spent $23 before tax on my meal and paid with $100 in cash, but was only given around $50 in change. The restaurant claimed that the rest of the money was a service fee, which was not stated anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant. This is extremely dishonest and unacceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and advise others to be cautious when paying with cash. It's disappointing to see a business resort to such tactics to try to steal from their customers.
It’s a traditional family own Chinese restaurant, with regular menu and build your own noodle soups. The dining room is very spacious and washroom is spotless. The original fish broth is great without MSG. You can choose two free toppings and desert. The mango pudding is delicious! Price is very reasonable. Some friendly smiles from the servers will make this place an even more enjoyable one.
Good taste and good quantity … it’s good to see that they haven’t really increased price even during this time …
Poor service, the older lady is really nice I always tip because of her but if she wasn’t there I would have never tipped the place but the owner of the store is not. I’ve already had a poor experience from the owner’s attitude female with ponytail but the experience from my younger cousin was even worse. Last time he ate there, the owner demanded them to pay 20% tip. My cousin only gave 10-15% tips as a student who cannot work and for the poor service from the owner thats already a good amount for tips, but as they were getting up to leave, the owner did not let them leave until they pay 20% tip. My cousin did not want to make this a big deal so he ended up paying 20%. The owner is clearly taking advantage of the younger customers because of their inability to stand up for themselves.
Great place to get noodle soup. You get to choose soup base, the type of noodle, and two items. And comes with a drinkFood: 4/5
