Parliament Hill

The Parliament is beautiful from the outside. The free tour they offer is incredibly helpful for soaking up the country's history and politics. Even if you don't want to take the tour, make sure to appreciate the building from the outside and snap some photos!

Amazing site for history lovers and architecture fans at the same time. The central wing is under renovation but the east and west wings are open for guided tours currently. I loved the fountain with the fire especially!

Astounding. The buildings are massive. There's just no way to fully grasp how big these fabulous buildings are without seeing them in person. There was a lot of construction going on, but still worth going. I took the tour of the House of Commons. It was interesting, fun, and educational. Well worth the 40-45 minutes standing & walking. They have stools they provide for you to carry with you is you cannot stand that long. I used one, it was great, sturdy, easy to use & carry.

I came here with my family from Montreal to visit the monuments and museums. The parliament building is very royal and good looking. Unfortunately, during our visit, there was a lot of construction going on so it blocked our view. But we got to see the eternal flame which is very cool. We also hung out in the garden and took some pictures with the royal guards. The monuments surrounding the hill are also cool.
