An undeniable classic. Di Rienzo’s is unabashedly itself and maintains the same standard of quality and service after all these years. The owner is gregarious and incredibly hospitable; he gave us some free cannoli and chatted us up for a while.nnThe vibe is reminiscent of a New York bodega. Come for the sandwiches and eat ‘em same day. They’ve recently started raising their prices after decades of keeping them steady. This is understandable given rising food costs. Still, at about $9 a sandwich, you’re laughing. Great deal. Get the #16 with everything on it, mayo and mustard and extra pickled eggplant.

Love to come here. Stopped in this Sunday, the best customer service you could get. Owner was there walking around chatting with customers, two employees tackling the sandwhiches and a very friendly cashier. The food was fresh and delicious as always, highly recommend trying here !nn5 stars all around

The sandwiches are so fresh and bursting with flavors. Great customer service and friendly.nnEditing to add we've now tried the lasagna and it's so good. The fresh homemade pasta just melts in your mouth.

The deli sandwich ingredients are decent tasty & fresh, right before they completely eject. Maybe use less or Smaller cut tomatoes. This thing is a mess, paninero & subito are 5s in my books.

Truly an Ottawa classic. I have been going for 20 years now and nothing has changed, the sandwiches I love are still perfect and my favorite quick meal in the city. This coupled with a nice walk through the arboretum is a perfect chill date with your partner!
