She was smiling and pleasant at 9 am when we all rushed through the door; she treated me with kindness and politeness at 10:30 when she served me, and provided a quick and efficient way to solve my problem by returning later when she would help me immediately! Which she did. She was excellent. Thank you Natalie. from the lady with the complicated driver license address change requiring a Power of Attorney. You ROCK!

This review is not for staff but Service Ontario. Please increase your service and locations in the area. Staff are nice and helpful but huge line ups. I arrived at 1:00 PM Aug 19, but waited until 4:00 PM. For government service, which includes providing necessary services, this amount of wait is unjustifiable. Specially for working people, seniors, and people differently-able. I understand they have appointment system but you can’t find appointment time easily and closer to date. I lost my license and needed replacement urgently, the earliest appointment they show on their website is end of August early September. Driving without license is not permissible, so I have no choice but to walk-in.nnI wish they had the direct line to higher management or officials, that we would address. I hope they look into this problem and work around it.

I visited this location last Thursday morning 22 Aug 24. Arrived at 0930 and picked up ticket #70; they were serving #30 at the time. After a 2.5 hour wait, for which only two wickets were open, a very full bladder no public washrooms there and I, were served. I was having veterans plates replaced that were bubbling and peeling. At first the service agent starting calling the Service Ontario line to establish whether or not my plates formed part of the recall as it's long established that for a period some of these plates were defective. This is the same line you and I would use and she was put into a queue. I immediately mentioned that regardless of the recall, it's my understanding that veterans plates are replaced for free anyway, and asked if she need to wait? She told me I was correct and hung up the phone, processed my paperwork politely, while engaging other agents/customers with questions. I was quite surprised that they have to use the same call number as the regular public and that they didn't have that information available on hand.

Dear Service Ontario,nnI am writing to express my concerns about the user experience at your office. I arrived at 8:30 am to find only two of the seven cubicles open. Two hours later, I am still waiting. It is difficult to watch as appointments are prioritized over walk-ins, without designated staff for each group. This has resulted in elderly individuals and families with babies enduring long wait times, not to mention your staff is struggling to keep up as well…nnI hope you will reconsider your staffing and scheduling approach to better serve all your clients promptly and efficiently.nnThank you.

Save yourself the time and hassle and just book an appointment.. it was easy, even for me and they send text & email reminders.nIf you don't book one, be prepared to wait because this Service Ontario is regularly packed to capacity.nnThe ladies here are super helpful too, they had me in and out in no time.
