What a lovely joint tucked in a business complex. We came for brunch and it didn’t disappoint, we got there around 10 on a Sunday morning and no one was there. Then around 11 am it got really busy! The baha fish taco was perfectly crispy and flavourful but not greasy.nnThe big breakfast burrito was huge and the Benedict’s came with 3 poached eggs, tater tots and coleslaw. The kids didn’t like the coleslaw much since it was bitter. But everything was cooked and flavoured well.nnWe will need to visit again.
I am beating myself up for not trying this place sooner! This place is GREAT. After spending a fortune at Lucky Taco at River Distinct last weekend, I would rather go here ten times over. The portions are excellent for the pasta and very flavourful. We were here for when they had the Bites of Burnaby going on - three courses for $35. We got the tortilla soup, three tacos and a craffle. The soup was so good man. Super hearty. Tacos had double fajitas so you can make them into six tacos.nnAtmosphere is so cute. Love all the custom painted murals and portraits of local scenic spots along the Fraser River.nnCustomer service is absolutely on point. The girl at the front has the best customer service I’ve seen in a while.nnWill be back many many more times : to try for brunch next.
Super cute little cafe with super yummy food and unique drinks! I loved the smoked salmon eggs benny 3 eggs!! and my sister enjoyed the chilaquiles. But be careful with the chilaquiles, they were a little spicy for us! But we’re not spice people. Bright and inviting space with friendly staff. Highly recommend, will be back for sure!
Olivo Café is located in a business park right by the path of Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park. We found a signboard on the trail and that’s when we decided to veer off the path and check out this cafe.nnCafe Olivo has a good brunch menu and was open on Sunday morning whereas the other businesses in the area weren’t open. Lots of Mexican food options including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and of course the usual brunch options. There is also a large menu for beverages and espresso, caffeine free, and tea.nnWe got the Spanish latte, the London fog, and churros. The drinks were great, hot and very soothing on a chilly day. The churros were a bit overcooked so it was harder than usual, but it did come with dulce de leche.nnThere is a small section for locally handcrafted artwork and cards you can check out.nnThere are two picnic tables outside to enjoy your food at, but also the inside is spacious with lots of tables available to sit at for patrons.
Very cute, tucked away mexican style restaurant. The restaurant has an open concept with simple decor. You order from the counter and food is delivered to your tables. Tried their mexican style pulled pork ramen and quesadillas. Both of them are very.
