La Forêt Café – A Hidden Gem!nnWent here for breakfast and wow — what a find! I had the avocado toast with egg, and it was absolutely amazing. My son tried waffles with egg and bacon — he found them a bit dry, but still good.nnWe also bought some croissants super flaky and fresh!. I saw someone having their mango waffle, and it looked so tempting — I’m definitely going back this week just to try that!nnThe place was packed, with a line out the door, but service was quick and efficient. Parking can be a bit tricky — if you’re lucky, you’ll find a spot, otherwise a short walk which honestly helps you make room for their desserts .nnAnd oh my god — the strawberry cream roll was divine! Can’t believe I’ve been ordering cakes from them but never tried their pastries before.nnIf you’re near Metrotown, don’t miss this spot. It’s totally worth it — from breakfast to pastries, everything is just chef’s kiss!
We had such a great time at La Forêt!nnThe place has a clean, modern vibe with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything looked spotless and well taken care of from the moment we walked in.nnThe food was excellent fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. We ordered a few brunch platters and everything hit the spot: crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, and the chicken was juicy with the right amount of crunch. The waffles and toast were golden and soft, and the side salad and potatoes made the meal feel balanced and hearty.nnThe coffee was rich and smooth the kind that pairs perfectly with their brunch. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous.nnOverall, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to stay and enjoy your morning just a little longer. Definitely a must-visit for brunch lovers we’ll for sure be coming back!
The atmosphere is cozy and beautifully designed, filled with warm lighting, greenery, and a relaxing vibe — perfect for coffee, brunch, or just unwinding.nThe service is always friendly and attentive, and you can tell the staff take pride in their work. The food is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — from their amazing waffles and sandwiches to delicious cakes and pastries. Their coffee is rich, smooth, and easily one of the best in Burnaby. Overall, La Forêt offers the perfect mix of great food, excellent service, and a comfortable, inviting space. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy café experience with top-quality food and drinks!
La Forêt Jubilee is my favorite brunch spot—bright, airy, and the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Coffee is smooth and consistent, pastries are flaky, and the brunch plates are thoughtful without being fussy think perfect eggs, crisp greens, and hearty sides. Service is warm and on the ball, even when it’s busy, and the vibe—plants, light, good music—just puts you in a great mood. It’s where I bring friends when I want guaranteed good food and an easy, happy morning. Tip: weekends get packed—go a little early and snag a latte while you wait.
This was my first visit and was a good first impression overall. You have to order first then sear yourself and the servers will bring your food. It was very chilly with the door open so we asked to close, which they did. The bill was $75 for the 3 of us, which is pricey but was a nice treat. Good portions and nice presentation. My Americano was perfect and the earl grey croissant was deadly delicious.
