Beautiful place, starting from the outside, and even more beautiful inside. You immediately feel immersed in a wonderful atmosphere, with the central plants making it feel like you’re in a garden. The dessert display is incredibly full, with so many options that it’s hard to choose. The menu is just right: having fewer dishes is a sign of freshness and quality. Prices are fair, and the portions are generous.

Visited La Forêt recently and really enjoyed the experience. The café has a modern and relaxing vibe, with a spacious, bright, and comfortable setting that makes it perfect for a casual dessert break.nTheir desserts are beautifully presented and very eye-catching. I especially loved the Chocolate Bun — soft, rich, and full of chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. You can really tell the desserts are made with care and attention to detail.nOverall, the atmosphere and dessert quality were both impressive. Definitely a place with a high return rate for me, and I’ll be back to try more desserts soon!

Very impressed! The photos on google don’t do it justice. Loved the architecture and the beautiful atmosphere. There were so many pastry options to choose from, and the signature matcha latte was so good. Definitely worth a visit!

This is one of my favorite dessert places in Burnaby. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and comfortable, surrounded by beautiful greenery that makes you feel like you’re dining in a peaceful garden.nnThe blueberry tart and mango tart are my absolute favorites — both are delicious and always worth coming back for. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.nWhat I love most about this place is how comfortable it feels. Whether you’re catching up with friends, having a quiet moment to yourself, or simply waiting for someone, there is no pressure or stress. The environment makes you want to stay and enjoy your time.nIn my opinion, this is one of the best cafes and dessert spots in Burnaby. Highly recommended!

I super enjoyed La Foret on Jubilee Avenue! Before entering, you get this lush green vine-covered building in front of you. The ambiance with the rock wall, high ceilings, leafy plants and well-spaced out tables is unparalleled. Most Vancouver cafes are pretty tight on space. The KFC brunch platter was delicious and fresh. My brewed coffee was handed to me immediately at the counter. Friends got the strawberry waffle which looked amazing. Staff were working hard and keeping the patrons served. The place is busy so I recommend getting their earlier to land a table suitable for your group size. I read some reviews about no Wifi but TBH, why would one go to this beautiful cafe to to stare at a screen? You'll be more than fine without any screen time here!
