I’ve tried all the bubble tea places at Crystal Mall and in and around the area. This one is my favourite. It also takes debit where lots of places are cash only. The bubble waffles are good, too! Just enough crisp. Never undercooked.
Very water down bubble tea. The powder inside is not even mixed see pictures .... it tasted like plain soy milk with no flacour....we ordered their top 3 bubble teas per their rating board and they are so far the worst BBT I have tasted in greater Vancouver..... Will not ever go again and 3 bubble teas are like $20... Could have made it myself at home with a better taste ...don't waste your time and money .their egg waffles look good though
Absolutely magnificent. The bubble tea and waffles are nothing short of marvelous. Every single person who has worked there shows that they love their job making great food and spreading world peace. I love them so much.
This place was pretty average. I got the matcha mochi bubble waffle and thought it was quite overpriced. I felt the matcha taste was very strong, almost to a point where it was bitter so you need to truly enjoy matcha to like this. Texture of the bubble waffle was spot on, but I felt they put too much mochi in it ironically, every bubble had a piece of mochi in it, making it a bit too sweet - plain flavoured mochi would’ve made it better and less of it. However, based on their bubble waffle texture, I do think their original flavour would be good and worth it because it’s significantly cheaper. It’s definitely one of the better bubble waffle places in town and I’d go back for it!
Ordered a combo with tea and a bubble waffle. Food is good, and tea was fantastic, BUT I would’ve appreciated being let known it was going to take that long, 25 min for the waffle since the moment I got my turn, a little respect towards your clients time. The crowd outside, probably they are waiting.
Got their winter special egg bubble waffle, but everything fell apart and so soggy. The stuff attitude was rude.
I gotta agree with the previous review about the matcha mochi waffle. I was excited to try it at first because of the sound of the combination but upon trying it, as someone also said it was a bit bitter. Texture was good, maybe a little more sweetness would make it taste better as my bf couldn't eat much of it cuz of the bitterness. So might try other flavours but definitely not the matcha one.
Do not order matcha mochi bubble waffle, it’s mostly tasteless with a bit of sugar flour flavour. I am very unimpressed with it. I have not tried their classic Hong Kong flavour yet, but not sure I will give another chance. When I came in to order the classic bubble tea, the store also ran out of bubble. I’ve never had a bubble tea store run out of bubble before. So again, very unimpressed with their store. Lastly, the order took much longer than I expected.
It tastes very good!!!! : I had a Mochi green tea bubble waffle. I had a mochi inside every bite and it isn’t too sweet. Super tasty and great service!!
Finally a great place to eat bubble waffle! I’ve tried different places and I always end up with not so great bubble waffle. However, Cafe Eggstatic makes them very good!!! It is crunchy and fluffy at the same time! I wish they had more stores in Vancouver.
