Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rapid City

We checked in and was giving a room next to the desk room was clean when into the bathroom drain in the tub was shredded so if you took a shower you could rip your foot open there was a hole in the bathtub as well the tiles were broken and you could almost pick them up. we were upgraded to a two Suite which was nice; however the bathroom tile was still chipped up and not nice. The carpet didn't look like it's ever been vacuumed. we stayed there for a few days had housekeeping come in they did not dust or wipe things down or take the garbage they didn't even vacuum or wash the bathroom. The beds were not made or changed. I called the office they told me that personal items on the bed or wherever won't be touched. there was nothing anywhere. however it wasn't cleaned. The pool was working one time the whole time we were there which was a total of 4 days no hot tub that was busted. the pool is only 38 to 40 ft long and was ice cold because they said they found a leak.All staff that smoked smoked in front of the building. People had not picked up any dog droppings. The breakfast was okay. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful place. Helpful, cheerful staff. Nice rooms, great rates, clean bathrooms. Breakfast options are a tad lacking, but fine if you eat waffles or biscuits and gravy. Everything else is great and they offer coffee 24/7.

We always enjoy staying at this hotel. Cheap for what you get! Pets are allowed for just like extra! Rooms are always clean. Staff are friendly.

It worked fine for a cheap place to sleep. AC unit didn't work very well. Pool and hot tub were pretty gross..lots of floaties.

Great staff, good rates will stay here again for sure, I had a suite and it was more than enough room for one person
