Days Inn by Wyndham West Rapid City

Great sleep. Ok breakfast and good service.

The room was nice, especially after a long day on the road. It was clean and I have no complaints. The customer service, was exceptional. They went out of their way to work with me after my bank messed up and I couldn’t use my card to reserve the room. If you’re in Rapid City and looking for a place to lay your head, I recommend Days Inn.

Our wrestling team has been staying at this hotel for many years when we travel to Rapid City for the Invite. Angie is always great to work with when making reservations for the team. The hotel is a little run down and could use some general updating, but it is clean, which for me is most important. Breakfast is your standard- waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, frozen omelets. Typical of what you’d get at this price point. The location is great- lots of restaurants, grocery store, Walgreens on the same block, and a short 5 minute drive to downtown and the event center. The attached lounge is convenient and I love the circular fireplace- the service was just ok on this visit. The front desk staff, especially Sharra are great and really make you feel welcome. Overall, I feel like this property is a very good value. They treat us great. Our team will continue to stay here when wrestling in Rapid City.

I paid cash reserved the room with credit card they charged my card 138.00 plus I paid cash of 138.00 so I paid Double for a room and when I questioned it they said they could not return my money Until a manager came in and it's a holiday weekend so I can't use money that I had loted for my vacation thank you days in once again you have failed me I will never stay at a day's inn again

Their price to value beats any other place in town. I've stayed here a few times, usually during the off season. Service is not only courteous but FRIENDLY which to me is more important, the rooms are kept very clean, good wifi etc.. They do very well by the Days Inn brand. Right behind the hotel is a strip mall with a surprisingly good and cheap Chinese restaurant, and I'm very picky about my Chinese. Right next to that is a supermarket. About a mile in either direction are hiking trails.
