We ordered poutine and spicy buffalo crisp poutine. It was really tasty. The guy who served us was very friendly, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only downside was that the bathrooms weren't quite clean. This is a priority when you need to get to a bathroom.

I really wanted to have a good experience at this McDonald’s, and to be fair, the staff and atmosphere were excellent — definitely 4 stars. The place was clean, well-kept, and the employees were friendly and professional. You could tell they took pride in their work, and that made a big difference walking in.nnUnfortunately, the food was a serious problem. I had a burger and fries, and within about 30 minutes, I started feeling really sick. I had to rush to the bathroom, and to their credit, one of the staff actually came to check on me to make sure I was okay. That level of care was unexpected and very much appreciated — they even offered water and made sure I didn’t need medical help.nnStill, getting sick after a meal is no small issue, and it’s something that really affects the overall experience. I respect the staff for how they handled it, but I hope management takes a close look at food quality and safety. Great service can only go so far if the food isn’t safe to eat.

We passed by when we were heading back to Durham Region.nHappy meal was so good.nPoutine with bacon was yummy.nThe chicken burger was tasty.nnThe only downside was it shared the restroom with a convenience store.nnRecommendation: If you decide to take a rest there, then you may avoid the 401 and drive on the road inside the town and enjoy the view.

Terrible service. Manager Sean had the nerve to ask me for proof of employment after I showed him my employee discount card. It’s disrespectful and the first time any manager has done this.nnMedium dried up fries inside a large box? They’re just begging for a bad review.
