Lynn Valley Shoe Repair

I googled this shoe repair shop to check the hours in anticipation of dropping off a pair of my wife's shoes for new soles. I saw several negative reviews about the, whom I assume is the owner, but disregarded them. My bad! Totally rude "gentleman". Told me it would be $45 and I had to pay first, before the work has even been done! I understand a deposit on some things, like a kitchen renovation, makes sense. I asked him if I could leave the shoes and get back to him because my wife may not want to spend that much on basically work shoes. No, pay or leave were my options? Very poor customer service and I guess he figures that it doesn't matter because he is in Lynn Valley. Well, bud, it does and I will not be giving you any of my, or my wife's, hard earned money. Good luck "sir", LOL! Don't bother wasting your time with this place, even if it is more convenient in location. I only gave 1 star because I had to. Otherwise, negative 1!

Has been a great resource in my arsenal of tools to effectively run a household: had him repair large camping backpack, shoe repairs and added soles to slippery shoes

Awful! The guy told me it was $17 for a large suede protector then $14 for a small so I said no. Then he said he could do it for me for $7 so I gave my shoes to him (I thought he would do something more) . He proceeded to take a can off the shelf and spray the shoes. When I said I would just buy the can he told me he would charge me an extra $2 for spraying my shoes. I told him that was ridiculous. Either way he ended up charging me $16. What a load of bs. I will NEVER take anything to him again. Rips you off.

Have used this shoe repair service 5-6 times in the past few years, he's always done a great job. Prices are fair and timeline is reasonable; have never had any problems and will continue to take our family's footwear here.
