Wonderful experience buying shoes from kintec. Chanelle was very patient and knowledgeable and recommended lots of shoes for my running needs. She ultimately helped me narrow it down, giving me all the pros and cons of each shoe and I easily found the perfect pair. It was a breeze! It was by far the best and fastest shoe shopping experience I've ever had. Would definitely come back for my next pair!
I love coming to Kintec to buy my running, trail and everyday footwear. Kintec has a great personalized shoe shopping experience. We started with a gait test using treadmill and iPad. Kiki our helper was very knowledgeable and explained how to improve my gait and reduce the amount of stress on my body when I walk. She also has a great eye for picking which shoe style suits me and explained the different features of each shoe which I really enjoyed.
I went to Kintec after my physiotherapist told me I needed new running shoes that were specific to motion control. I was helped by Chanelle, who was absolutely wonderful! She recommended at least 5 different motion control shoes and explained which aspects of the shoe assist with ensuring the foot is supported while running. Chanelle was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and a pleasure to speak to! I highly recommend asking her for help if you're heading to Kintec and looking for some good running shoes!
Amazing experience with Maxime. I booked a 30 minutes free consultation with Kintech to see if they can help on heel pain and Maxime patiently helped me and explained the issue to me. He was very informative and taught a few exercises to me. He also recommended a pair of walking shoes that have been useful to minimize the heel pain. In general very positive experiences.
Shopping at Kintec proved to be a great experience thanks to the people who work there as well as the selection of merchandise! From the moment I entered the store I was greet by Haein whose undivided attention I had for the duration of my visit. She is very knowledgeable not just about shoes available in store but about the anatomy of legs and feet; she definitely helped me a lot in selecting the right pair of runners. I particularly liked the approach: no product was forced on me, I was given more than a few options based on my personal taste in runners, and Haein was extremely helpful when it came to narrowing the down the selection by making sure to provide me with information about the build and strength of each pair that I tired on. I certainly ended up getting the best fit for my feet and for my taste in runners!
Fantastic service by Mike H. Very patient with me trying on probably 10 pairs of road and trial shoes. Got some that are extremely comfortable. Will be back for all my shoe needs!
Alex was such a wonderful help during my One2One appointment! I needed not one but two new pairs of runners a short distance and a long distance pair and she was up for the challenge. She listened closely to my needs, as well as my likes and dislikes about my current pairs, and quickly sought out six pairs for me to try. She was bang on with her choices. I’ve now run in both new pairs a couple times and neither has even needed to be broken in. They’re just right. Thank you Alex! Update: it’s months later and I have to say…these two pairs of shoes are perfection.
Fantastic service from Alex today. She was super knowledgeable about the selection and running shoes and she really worked to understand my needs and find a shoe that would take me the distance in my marathon training. She also did a great job at making sure I got the right fit despite my bad habit of wearing too tight fitting shoes. Highly recommend and I can’t imagine getting my runners anywhere else now. Thanks!
Have been experiencing a few issues recently when walking and thought I would try out Kintec, my friend recommended them. I booked an appointment and found Chanelle. She was a delight and definitely understood my difficulties, thus avoiding the usual confusion when entering a sports shoe store or department. She narrowed my choices down to four pairs of shoes and it was easy, with her guidance to recognize the one for me. Painless! Will definitely return and recommend others give it a try.
I received my new pair of orthotics in February. I was shocked at what a big difference the updated fit made over my previous three year old pair. After marathon training with them for two months I experienced no running injuries that usually come with high mileage training. Huge thanks to Kristin. The staff at Kintec North Van are friendly and knowledgeable and provide consistent five star customer service.
