The food was good.. it wasn’t anything special but it was good. didn’t have much.. just one karahi with nan.. so I would say it’s hard to judge with just one meal. But overall, service was great. The food was alright and atmosphere was clean and tidy. - Got to know the card tips go to the house so will be tipping only cash next time.
One of the good Indian restaurant in the downtown area. There was a waiting time on the weekend; the service and ambiance was average but the food was so delicious. Everything we tried was great.Food: 5/5
Pretty good Indian food for decent prices! I liked how there was roti served over the biryani. The service was good, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the decor/ambience. All in all a good dining experience though.Recommended dishesChicken Tikka Masala
18% Gratuity after 11pm is a SCAM with STAFF. I always add a 15% tip which should go to people working. Gratuity makes all customers skip the tip since you forcefully took it in name of gratuity which completely went to Owner’s pocket. What’s so exclusive about you to ask for 18% more at night. No other restaurant all across Canada does that. If not questioned, this unfare pricing will become a trend and adopted by other restaurants as well. The sooner addressed, the less it will spread. Food is okay from taste and quantity perspective. Not too good but not bad as well. 3 star here Prices are already high anyways comparing tons of other restaurants providing same food for a genuine price. Drops it to 2 stars Staff is friendly and services are fast Pulls up to 3 stars
The Bombay restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delicious Rara chicken, perfectly cooked to perfection. The lachha paratha was a must-try and complemented the dish wonderfully. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness added to the enjoyable dining experience. During the afternoon, it's pleasantly quiet, but be prepared for busy evenings when there might be a line. Overall, a delightful place to indulge in authentic flavors. Highly recommended!
Overrated restaurant, don’t go by reviews! - 1 I was served cold food. - 1 The dal makhni had Rajma taste and it was very watery. - 1 Garlic naan had no taste and small quantity. + 1 Quick service probably because of pre cooked food + 1 Dine in experience was good.
Delicious food and great service! I had the butter chicken with jeera rice. Vandana is such a gentle waitress. I’ll definitely come back!Food: 5/5
Very tasty food, I tried the Dum Phukh Chicken Biryani and I highly recommend not to forget the Rasmalai which was also amazing. I highly appreciate the amazing service by Rikesh, he elevated the fine dining experience..Food: 5/5
Edit: today I was told that all card tips go to the house and doesn't get distributed to staff. Not sure why there's these 1 star reviews, and what line? There's never a line when I go, are people mistaken on where they're leaving their reviews? This time we got the chicken 65, Hakka noodles, sweet and sour cauliflower and a corn soup. Everything was aces. I'd have preferred the noodles to not be so strong.. but it was fine as it is. Portions are super big but you do pay for what you get. Everything I've had has been yum yum. Service is pleasant and efficient.
Good food, enjoyed our dinner. Staff is friendly and good service In my second visit, I would still say the same…GOOD FOOD! The first time I went w friends so wasn’t aware about the prices, but I feel it’s a bit expensive in comparison to other Indian restaurants in Toronto, but fair enough for the taste they offer. Food might take longer to arrive when busy, but the staff is friendly and doing a great job. P.S- check the pictures to see the names of the food items.
